ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Shujinxi medicine on elbow function joint recovery in children with supracondylar fracture of children.MethodsThis study was designed by using a clinical randomized controlled and prospective principle.From March 2019 to February 2020,closed reduction and percutaneous Kirschner wire fixation was performed in the Pediatric Orthopedics department of Foshan Hospital of TCM.80 patients were selected according to the inclusion criteria,and were divided into the experimental group and the control group at a ratio of 1:1 based on the random number table method.The experimental group was given Shujin washing medicine and fumigation every day,combined with independent functional exercise,while the control group was given the same amount of warm water and fumigation every day,combined with independent functional exercise.The elbow flexion and extension(ROM)and HSS elbow function scores before and after fumigation and washing were measured and recorded in two groups.Data were collected and evaluated the efficacy and safety of Shujin washing medicine through statistical analysis.Results1.Compared with the control group,the children in the experimental group had no significant differences in baseline indicators such as age,gender,cause of injury,consultation time,fracture side,etc.(P>0.05),and these two groups were comparable.2.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the flexion and extension of the elbow joint between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,there was a significant difference in the flexion and extension of the elbow joint between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.01),and a significant difference between the flexion and extension of the elbow joint between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).It shows that the improvement of the flexion and extension function of elbow joints in children with supracondylar fractures of the humerus is significantly better than that of warm water fumigation.3.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in HSS elbow joint function score between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,there was a significant difference between the HSS elbow function score group in the experimental group and the control group(P<0.01),and a significant difference between the HSS elbow function score group in the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).And the excellent rate(85%)in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(45%),indicating that Shujinxi medicine washing and fumigation was significantly better than warm water fumigation in promoting the recovery of elbow function in children with supracondylar fractures of the humerus.4.In terms of safety,2 cases of skin flushing and pain appeared in the experimental group,2 cases of itching in the control group and 1 case of eczema in the control group.The symptoms in the 2 groups were eliminated after timely symptomatic treatment,and the study was continued.The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 5%,and that in the control group was 7.5%.There was no significant difference(P>0.05).ConclusionShujinxi medicine washing and fumigating for children with dysfunction after supracondylar fracture of humerus is superior to control group in improving elbow flexion and extension activities and restoring elbow function,and it is safe and reliable。...
