| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of simple obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness,by constrasting the changes of BMI,waist circumference and the score of spleen deficiency and dampness symptom.MethodsOn the basis of diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria and shedding criteria,66 patients were finally included and 33 patients in each group.Acupoint catgut embedding combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion were used in the treatment group, while the control group was treated with ordinary acupoint catgut embedding.Take the changes of BMI,waist circumference and the score of spleen deficiency and dampness symptom as the observation index. Finally, the data were analyzed statistically.ResultsIn the study,66 eligible patients were included, but 4 patients exit during the treatment,31 patients in each group were finally included. Before the treatment, there was no significant statistical difference between the two groups in gender, age, course of disease(P>0.05).After treatment,BMI,waist and spleen deficiency and dampness symptom were improved in both groups. There was no statistical significance between BMI and waist circumference in the curative effect(P>0.05),but the treatment group had better effect in improving the symptoms of symptoms of spleen deficiency and dampness obstruciton, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).According to the curative effect evaluation standard,11 patients were clinical recovery,11 patients had markedly effective,4 patients had effect and 5 patients ineffectively, and the total effective rate was 83.9%in the treatment group. In the control group,10 patients were clinical recovery,5 patients had markedly effective,9 patients had effect and 7 patients ineffectively, the total effective rate was 77.4%.There was no statistical significance in total effective rate between the two groups. However, markedly effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than the control group.Conclusion1.The therapeutic effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion and ordinary acupoint catgut embedding was equivalent.2.Acupoint catgut embedding combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion had the better effect in improving the symptoms of spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction as well as markedly effective rate3.Both of acupoint catgut embedding combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion and ordinary acupoint catgut embedding were safe and effective in treating simple obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness obstruciton. However, acupoint catgut embedding combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion had better curative effect and worthy of clinical use. |
