| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Renmai moxibustion on neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury, and to further discuss its possible mechanism to provide a new treatment method and basis for improving the bladder function of patients with spinal cord injury. Methods: Sixty patients were randomly divided into control group(30 cases)and observation group(30 cases). The control group received regular rehabilitation training, once a day, five times a week(weekend rest),two weeks as a course of treatment,a total of two courses of treatment(4 weeks),and intermittent catheterization based on relative safe bladder capacity(once a week);on the basis of the observation group,Renmai moxibustion therapy is performed again, moxibustion 3 times a week, two weeks as a course of treatment,4 consecutive weeks,a total of 12 moxibustion in two courses. Before and after treatment, the following indexes were recorded in the two groups: the number of urination and leakage in 24 hours, the safe capacity of bladder, the maximum bladder pressure, the residual urine volume, the evaluation of quality of life index,B-ultrasonic examination(ureteral reflux and hydronephrosis),and the therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared. Results: One of the 60 patients selected in this topic fell off,so 59 patients were finally included,29 patients in the treatment group and 30 patients in the observation group. Before treatment, the general data(gender,age,etc.),24-hour urination times,24-hour leakage times, bladder safety capacity, maximum bladder pressure, residual urine volume and quality of life index of the two groups were compared. There was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the number of24-hour urination and 24-hour leakage in the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment(p<0.05),the safe volume of bladder in the two groups increased compared with that before treatment(p<0.05),the maximum bladder pressure decreased compared with that before treatment(p<0.05),the residual urine volume decreased compared with that before treatment(p<0.05),the quality of life index score decreased compared with that before treatment(p<0.05),and there were significant differences between the groups after treatment(p<0.05),the differences were statistically significant. There was no ureteral reflux and hydronephrosis before and after treatment in both groups. Conclusion: Renmai moxibustion has significant advantages in reducing24-hour micturition and leakage times of neurogenic bladder patients after spinal cord injury, increasing the safe capacity of bladder, reducing maximum bladder pressure, reducing residual urine volume and improving quality of life.It can regulate bladder compliance and protect patients’ upper urinary tract function. |
