Clinical Study On The Effect Of Xingnao Yizhi Acupuncture On Cognitive Function Of Patients With Vascular Dementia

Objective:The effect of Xingnao Yizhi Acupuncture on cognitive function of patients with vascular dementia was observed through a randomized controlled study,which provided a new form for the treatment of vascular dementia.Method:Sixty patients with vascular dementia were included in this study.They were randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with donepezil hydrochloride(5 mg/time,once a day).The treatment group was treated with Xingnao Yizhi Acupuncture(acupoints:Baihui,Sishencong,Fengchi,Yintang,Neiguan,Fenglong.Both groups were treated for 30 days.Montreal Cognitive Assessent(Mo CA),Activity of Daily Life(ADL)and Syndrome Differentiation Scale of Traditional Chinese Medicine(SDSVD)were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment.Result:1.Montreal Cognitive Assessent(Mo CA)Scale score: Both groups can improve the Mo CA score(P < 0.05),after treatment,the two groups Mo CA score difference(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 80.00%,and that of the control group was 56.67%.There were statistical differences between the treatment group and the control group(P < 0.05).2.Activity of daily living(ADL)scale score: both groups can improve the ADL scale score(P < 0.05),after treatment,the ADL score of the two groups is different(P< 0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 83.33%,and that of the control group was 60.00%.There were statistical differences between the treatment group and the control group(P < 0.05).3.Comparison of curative effect of syndrome differentiation scale of traditional Chinese medicine(SDSVD): The total effective rate of the treatment group was86.67%,and that of the control group was 60.00%.There were statistical differences between the treatment group and the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The effect of Xingnao Yizhi Acupuncture combined withDonepezil Hydrochloride on improving cognitive function of patients with vascular dementia is more significant than that of Donepezil Hydrochloride.2.The effect of Xingnao Yizhi Acupuncture combined with Donepezil Hydrochloride is better than that of Donepezil Hydrochloride in improving daily living ability and TCM syndromes of patients with vascular dementia.
