There are similar emotional processing impairments and social motivations in high autistic individuals with autism spectrum disorders.A large number of studies have shown that there are different processing mechanisms for social and non social emotional stimuli in ordinary individuals. However,in the past, researches on autistic individuals rarely consider social and emotional stimuli together. Therefore,in order to explore the influence of sociality on the emotional processing of autistic individuals, this paper conducts the following three studies: In the first part,we used event-related potential(ERP)technology to examine the cognitive neural characteristics of high and low autistic individuals in the processing of social and non social emotional pictures. We used a mixed experimental design of 2(AQ group: high / low autistic level)× 2(picture type: social / non social)× 3(emotion type: negative / neutral / positive).60 subjects were required to complete the design Emotion recognition task: in Study 2,eye movement tracking technology was used to examine the visual characteristics of high and low autistic individuals in the process of processing social and non social pictures.A mixed experimental design of 2(AQ group: high / low autistic level)× 2(picture type: social / non social)× 3(emotion type: negative / neutral / positive)was used and56 subjects were required to browse pictures at will;In Study 3,665 college students were investigated by using autistic quality scale and social avoidance and distress scale to explore the relationship between autistic characteristics and social avoidance and anxiety. The results are as follows:Study 1: for individuals with low autistic characteristics, the activation of social neutral pictures increases and the activation of social negative pictures weakens on the N2 component, and for the P3 component, the activation of social negative pictures is greater than that of non social negative pictures;for individuals with high autistic characteristics, the activation of social negative pictures is higher on the N2 component than that of low autistic characteristics, showing in the early stage of processing social negative emotional pictures, the high autistic group invests more attention resources and stronger emotional experience than the low autistic group,,On the other hand,on thecomponent of P3,the activation of social positive picture was increased, while on the component of P3,the activation of social negative picture was decreased,It shows that while the high autistic group shows a trend of decreasing intentional attention input and fine processing.Study 2: however,in the period of 1000ms-1500 ms,people with high autistic characteristics have significantly shorter attention time to face in social negative emotional pictures than those with low autistic characteristics.Study 3: there is a significant positive correlation between the level of autistic traits and social avoidance and distress. To sum up,high autistic individuals tend to over wake up in the early stage and reduce in the later stage in the processing of social negative emotions, and show avoidance of faces in social negative pictures, which may lead to higher social anxiety in daily life and more avoidance behaviors.
