The rapid development of the Internet of Things technology and automation technology makes it possible to achieve automated dispensing in pharmacies. The automated dispensing system can improve the efficiency of prescription processing and clinical operations, and is more in line with the needs of patients and hospitals and future development trends. The number of team members in each hospital is different, and the size of the patients to be received is also quite different. The interaction between people, prescriptions and equipment is diverse. Therefore, when changing the traditional dispensing process to an automated dispensing process,it is necessary to design different dispensing processes for different medical environments. And before the implementation, analyze whether the designed process is correct or whether there are problems,so as to select an automated dispensing process suitable for the current medical environment.Avoid unreasonable process design and reduce the reliability and efficiency of the process. In the automated dispensing process, there is a large amount of business data. When these business data and the roles in the environment appear in the process at the same time,it will bring complex high concurrency. The business data itself is random, the medical environment also has a certain randomness, and the business data needs to maintain consistency and integrity. The established process model can effectively analyze the reliability and efficiency of the process only if it reflects these characteristics of the process. This article focuses on an automated dispensing process with these complex characteristics and proposes a widely applicable method for modeling and analysis of automated dispensing processes. This article first introduces the research and analysis related to the automated dispensing process at home and abroad. Then introduced the concept and attributes of timed color Petri nets and CPN Tools simulation analysis tools, and explained the reasons for using them. Then it analyzes the characteristics of the process and the difficulties of modeling, proposes an artifact-centric modeling method, and converts the process factors into elements in the Petri net,and finally gives the Petri net model framework of the automated dispensing process. The traditional method of activity modeling, underestimating the data in the process,is prone to inconsistent data leading to abnormal processes, and the established model is huge and not easy to manage and maintain. Therefore, this article proposes an artifact-centric modeling method, which is modeled in stages according to the artifact lifecycle model. And the Petrinet model is established for the role, task and randomness in the artifact life cycle model. The real-time association and interaction between the life cycle models are realized through the fusion place, and finally an automated dispensing process model based on the timed color Petri net is established.Use CPN Tools simulation analysis to establish the model, analyze the correctness and performance of the process. Finally, through a case study,a specific pharmacy automated dispensing process is modeled and analyzed, and the effectiveness of the modeling and analysis methods is verified. This article shows that using the modeling method based on timed color Petri nets can well build an automated dispensing process model, while using the simulation analysis tool CPN Tools can efficiently analyze the correctness and efficiency of the process.Modeling and analysis methods mentioned in this article can be used as the basis for designing and optimizing the decision-making of automated dispensing processes.
