Objective: Under the guidance of the classical theory of "freeing lung-qi and eliminating damp",this article explores the role of lung in the“functional activities of qi”and body fluid metabolism,to observe the clinical effect of Xuanfei Huoxue Lishui prescription combined with anti VEGF therapy,providing a new idea for the treatment of retinal vein obstructive macular edema(RVO-ME).Methods: Using a prospective case study,40 patients were randomly divided into 20 patients in the treatment group and 20 patients in the control group.Treatment group take Chinese medicine decoction(Xuanfei Huoxue Lishui prescription)combined with intravitreal injection of lucentis one time,control group take Chinese patent medicine combined with Vitreous injection of Lucentis one time.The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),central foveal thickness(CFT),maximum retinal thickness(MRT),retinal cross-sectional area(RCA),and retinal cross-sectional cystic cavity area(RCCA)were observed in the two groups before treatment and after 4 week,6week,8week treatment,and statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Result:1.Comparison of general conditions before treatment:There was no significant difference in gender,age,type of retinal vein occlusion,BCVA and the index of OCT among the two groups(P >0.05).2.Comparison of BCVA after treatment: among the two groups BCVA in each time point after treatment was both higher than that in the pre-treatmen,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).there was no difference in BCVA between the groups after 4week treatment(p>0.05).the improvement of BCVA in the treatment groups was better than that in the control group after 6week and 8week treatment,the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).3.Comparison of CFT and MRT after treatment: CFT and MRT in 4w、6,w、8w after treatment in the two groups was lower than that in the pre-treatment,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).there was no difference in CFT and MRT between the groups after 4week treatment(p>0.05).the decrease of CFT and MRT in the treatment groups was better than that in the control group after 6week and 8week treatment,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).4.Comparison of RCA and RCCA after treatment: RCA and RCCA in each time point of treatment in the two groups was lower than that in the pre-treatment,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).and there was no difference in RCA and RCCAand RCCA between the groups after treatment(p>0.05).5.Comparison of curative effect: total effective rate was 100% in treatment group 4w after treatment,90.0% in control group.95.0% in treatment group 6w after treatment,80.0% in control group.80.0% in treatment group8 w after treatment,70.0% in control group.Differences among observation points were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion: The long-term application of Xuanfei Huoxue Lishui prescription is effective,which can improve BCVA,reduce the degree of macular edema and effectively delay the recurrence process of RVO-ME.
