Objective:To explore the clinical effect of promoting qi to activate blood and relieving pain method in patients with FTS after laparoscopic appendectomy, and to explore its related mechanism of action,in order to provide reference for clinical treatment of appendicitis. Methods:The clinical data of 74 patients who underwent laparoscopic appendectomy and fast track surgery in the Department of General Surgery,The First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2017 to June 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.The74 patients were randomly divided into the control group(rapid rehabilitation group)and the observation group(Benefiting Qi and Activating Blood Circulation and Relieving Pain + FTS group),37 cases in each group. The control group patients were only managed by the conventional concept of fast track surgery. The observation group was based on the control group, the prescription of promoting qi to activate blood and relieving pain was added. Then Visual Analogue Scale, gastrointestinal function recovery, relevant laboratory tests, the time of hospitalization, and postoperative complications were observed and recorded.Results:(1)In this study,74 subjects were collected,37 cases in the control group, including 30 cases of acute simple appendicitis,6 cases of acute suppurative appendicitis,1 case of gangrenous appendicitis,37 cases in the observation group, including 31 cases of acute simple appendicitis,5 cases of acute suppurative appendicitis and 1 case of gangrenous appendicitis.(2)There was no significant difference in gender and age between the control group and the observation group,P>0.05,which was comparable.(3)The VAS of the treatment group on the third day after operation was significantly lower than that of the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(4)Compared with the control group,Whether it was the first time of fart and defecation after surgery,or the index of recovery time of bowel sounds, the recovery time of gastrointestinal function in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group,P<0.05,indicating that the difference was statistically significant.(5)There was no significant difference between the two groups in the percentage of neutrophils,IL-6 and TNF-α on the first day after operation(P>0.05).There were significant differences between the two groups in the following five indexes: leukocyte count on the first day, leukocyte count on the third day, neutrophil percentage,IL-6 and TNF-α(P<0.05).(6)Compared with the control group, the time of hospitalization in the observation group were shortened in varying degrees(P<0.05),so there were statistically significant differences.(7)Although P>0.05,there was no significant difference between the two groups. The incidence of postoperative complications in the control group was18.91%,and that in the observation group was 5.41%.The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group.Conclusion:(1)For the patients with FTS after laparoscopic appendectomy, the use of promoting qi to activate blood and relieving pain method can reduce the relevant inflammatory indicators, abate the inflammatory response of patients, and alleviate the degree of pain.(2)The method of promoting qi to activate blood and relieving pain can help the patients with laparoscopic appendectomy recover their healthy qi,promote the rapid recovery of patients after laparoscopic appendectomy to fart and defecate, and accelerate the recovery of gastrointestinal function. It also can help the recovery of patients and shorten the hospitalization time.(3)The method of promoting qi to activate blood and relieving pain not only promotes the rapid recovery of patients, but also reduces the occurrence of postoperative complications.
