Clinical Observation Of Fire Needle Combined With Acupoint Catgut Embedding In Treating Verruca Plana(Wind-heat Toxin Accumulation Type)

Objective:By comparing the clinical efficacy of fire needle combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy and conventional western medicine group in treating wind-heat toxic verruca plana,the effectiveness and safety of fire needle combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy in treating the disease were determined,so as to provide a new idea and method for clinical treatment of the disease.Methods:70 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 35 patients in each group.During the treatment period,the control group was treated with conventional western medicine(tretinoin cream and transfer factor capsule),while the observation group was treated with fire needle combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy(Dazhui,Feishu,Quchi,Xuehai,Zusanli,wart body part).After 6 weeks of treatment,the scores of various indexes such as the number,size,color,pruritus degree,homomorphic reaction and the changes of total scores of lesions before and after treatment in the two groups were comparatively observed and analyzed,the clinical efficacy of the two groups was analyzed,and the adverse reactions of the two groups and relapse of cured patients were recorded.Results:the total effective rates of the observation group and the control group were 93.94% and 75.76% respectively,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group in terms of the number,size and homomorphic response of skin lesions(P< 0.05).the scores of the observation group were also lower than those of the control group in terms of skin lesion color and pruritus degree,but the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The total score of skin lesions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both groups have good effects on the treatment of verruca plana(wind-heat toxic accumulation type),but the overall curative effect of fire needle combined with acupoint catgut embedding group is better than that of conventional western medicine group,especially in improving the number,size and homomorphic reaction index of skin lesions,with less adverse reactions and low recurrence rate,which is worthy of popularization and application in clinical practice.
