Objective:Based on the quantitative parameter measurement technique of Synthetic magnetic resonance imaging, the patients with prostate cancer were scanned. The T1,T2 and PD values of prostate cancer tissues(including peripheral zone prostate cancer and transitional zone prostate cancer),non-cancerous peripheral zone tissues and benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues were obtained by post-processing,and to explore the clinical application ability of Synthetic magnetic resonance imaging quantitative parameter measurement technique in the diagnosis of prostate cancer.Materials and methods:88 patients with suspected prostate cancer were prospectively scanned by conventional magnetic resonance imaging and SyMRI MAGiC sequence from May 2020 to February 2021.41 patients with prostate cancer were included in this study. The normal or benign prostate regions of prostate cancer and its controls were taken by mirror image.ADC,T1,T2 and PD values of peripheral zone prostate cancer,non-cancerous peripheral zone prostate cancer, transitional zone prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia were obtained by post-processing,and then statistical analysis was carried out. Results:The values of T1,T2 and PD in peripheral zone prostate cancer were lower than those in non-cancerous peripheral zone tissues(P<0.05).The T1,T2 and PD values of prostate cancer in transitional zone were also lower than those in benign prostatic hyperplasia(P<0.05).The area under the curve(AUC value)of T2 value and the area under the curve of apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC value),that is,the AUC value is higher than T1 value and T2 value. In the peripheral zone, the sensitivity of T2 value and ADC value was higher than that of T1 value and PD value, and the specificity of ADC value and PD value was higher than that of T1 value and T2 value. In the transition zone, the sensitivity of T2 value and ADC value is higher than T1 value and PD value, and the specificity of ADC value is higher than T1 value,T2 value and PD value. Conclusion:The T1,T2 and PD values of Synthetic magnetic resonance imaging are useful parameters for distinguishing prostate cancer from other benign lesions or normal prostate tissues which are easy to be complicated with prostate cancer in clinical practice.T2 value improves the sensitivity in the diagnosis of prostate cancer and avoids missed diagnosis to some extent. The relationship between synthetic magnetic resonance quantitative measurement and physiopathology will provide a non-invasive alternative for biopsy and histology.Synthetic magnetic resonance imaging has certain practical value in the application field of prostate diseases.
