Objective: Through a randomized controlled experiment, this study was compared with the conventional acupuncture group, aiming to explore the clinical efficacy of spasmodic paralysis of lower limbs after apoplexy by acupuncture on stilts, evaluate its effectiveness and the improvement of symptoms,so as to broaden new ideas and provide a new plan for the clinical treatment of this disease. Methods: In this study,64 patients who were admitted to the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of Hubei Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Department of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation of Hubei 672 Orthopedic Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from May 2019 to December2020 and met the diagnostic criteria were divided into two groups by random number table method,32 patients in each group. The two groups had the same basic treatment acupoints, head and face: Baihui,Yin Tang,Tai Yang, and Shuigou;Upper limb: Quchi,Neiguan,Tongli,Hegu.Acupoints of lower limbs of acupuncture stilts group: Shenmai,Pu Can,fuyang,Zhaohai and Jiaoxin; The lower extremity acupoints of the conventional acupuncture group were Yanglingquan,Zusanli,Fenglong,Sanyinjiao and Taichong.Acupuncture was kept for 30 minutes each time, once per day.One treatment cycle included six treatments, with an interval of 1 day,and the next cycle was performed. Two cycles were one course of treatment,a total of two courses of treatment,4 weeks. Before and after treatment, stroke syndrome efficacy scores, improved Ashworth scale, simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function scale,Berg balance scale, and daily activity scale scores were observed and recorded, and adverse reactions after intervention were observed and recorded. The data obtained were statistically analyzed by SPSS 22.0 statistical software, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was observed. Results: 1.Comparison of therapeutic effect of stroke syndrome between acupuncture on stilts pulse group and conventional acupuncture group after 2 courses of treatment: there were 30 patients in the stilts pulse group,of which 10 were significantly effective,15 were effective and 4 were ineffective, with a total effective rate of 83.3%;In the conventional acupuncture group, there were 31 patients,5 patients showed significant effect,18 patients showed effective effect and 8 patients showed no effect, with a total effective rate of 74.2%.Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups showed that the total effective rate of acupuncture on stilts pulse group was better than that of conventional acupuncture group(P < 0.05).2.After treatment, improved Ashworth scale, simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function scale,Berg balance scale, and daily activity scale scores were improved in both groups, with statistically significant differences(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The acupuncture on stilts arteries group was superior to the conventional acupuncture group in improving the efficacy score of stroke syndrome, improving Ashworth scale, simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function scale,Berg balance scale, and daily activity scale scores.2.Both the acupuncture stilts group and the conventional acupuncture group can improve the symptoms of lower limb spasmodic paralysis patients after stroke, but the acupuncture stilts group is better than the conventional acupuncture group in improving the clinical efficacy, clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients.3.Acupuncture on stilts is effective in the treatment of spasmodic paralysis of lower limbs after stroke, convenient to operate and highly accepted by patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
