| ObjectiveIn this study,acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping was used to treat neurodermatitis,and compared with western medicine alone,the objective symptoms,itching degree and effective rate of skin lesions before and after treatment were observed,and comprehensive comparison was made to evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping on neurodermatitis,providing new ideas and safer and more effective methods for the treatment of this disease.MethodsAccording to the principle of random grouping,60 patients with neurodermatitis who met the inclusion criteria of this study were divided into treatment group(acupuncture group)and control group(western medicine group),with 30 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group.Two groups of patients were given health education,and the control group was given compound beclomethasone camphor ointment for topical application,twice a day,once in the morning and once in the evening,with 6 days as a course of treatment.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture combined with pricking collaterals and cupping.The specific operations were as follows: Hegu,Neiguan,Quchi,Xuehai,Sanyinjiao,Taichong and Ashi were selected as the main acupuncture points;According to syndrome differentiation and classification,acupoints are selected.After disinfection,Ashi acupoints are treated with circumferential needling,while other acupoints are treated with conventional needling.After getting angry(patients feel sore and swollen),needles are reserved for 30 minutes.Every 10 minutes,needles are taken after 3 times.After taking needles,Ashi,Feishu(bilateral)and Quchi(bilateral)are selected.By observing the changes of skin lesion sign score and itching degree score before and after treatment,the total skin lesion score was compared to evaluate the comprehensive clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results(1)comparison of objective symptom scores: after two courses of treatment,the objective symptom scores of western medicine group and acupuncture group,such as skin lesion area,skin lesion shape,skin lesion color,moss-like number and hypertrophy degree,were all lower than before,p < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that both methods are effective in improving the objective symptoms of neurodermatitis;After treatment,the results of the two groups were compared,P < 0.01,and the difference was statistically significant,indicating that acupuncture group was obviously superior to western medicine group in improving the symptoms of neurodermatitis.(2)Comparison of itching degree scores: After two courses of treatment,the itching degree of patients in the two groups was reduced,P <0.05,and the difference was statistically significant,indicating that both methods can improve the subjective itching feeling of patients with neurodermatitis;After treatment,the results were compared between the two groups,P < 0.01,and the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the treatment group improved the itching degree more obviously than the control group.(3)Comparison of total skin lesion scores: After two courses of treatment,the total skin lesion scores of the two groups were lower than before,P < 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant,indicating that both schemes can reduce the total skin lesion scores;After treatment,the comparison between the two groups showed that the acupuncture group was superior to the western medicine group in reducing the total score of skin lesions.(4)Comparison of total clinical curative effect: The effective rate of the treatment group(90.0%)is higher than that of the control group(73.3%).The result shows that the treatment group is obviously superior to the control group in treating neurodermatitis.Conclusion:(1)Acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping and external western medicine can treat neurodermatitis,but the former has better overall curative effect than external medicine.(2)Acupuncture combined with pricking collaterals and cupping can improve the objective symptoms of skin lesions such as skin lesion area,skin lesion shape,skin lesion color,moss-like number and hypertrophy degree,which is better than external western medicine.(3)Acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping is more effective than western medicine in improving patients’ itching feeling. |
