Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of pressure moxibustion on Sihua point in the treatment of insomnia of heart gallbladder Qi deficiency type, and compare with mild moxibustion, analyze and evaluate the advantages and characteristics of pressure moxibustion on Sihua point in the treatment of insomnia,so as to provide clinical research basis for clinical moxibustion treatment of insomnia. Methods:Insomnia patients with heart and gallbladder Qi deficiency in the Department of acupuncture, massage and rehabilitation,in Hunan Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Affiliated Hospital, from November2019 to November 2020 were collected.According to the order of treatment, insomnia patients were randomly divided into observation group(pressure moxibustion on Sihua points)and control group(mild moxibustion on Sihua points).Finally,30 patients in the observation group were included,30 cases in the control group were included. The observation group was treated with pressure moxibustion at Sihua points, while the control group was treated with mild moxibustion at Sihua point. Both groups were treated once every other day,10 days as a course of treatment,a total of2 courses of treatment. All Patients were evaluated by Pittsburgh Sleeping Quality Index(PSQI),TCM diagnosis scale and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)before treatment, after the first course of treatment and at the end of treatment.Result:1.Baseline comparison:There was no significant difference(P > 0.05)between two groups in some aspects of the age, gender, course of disease, two groups were comparable.2.Efficacy comparison:There was no significant difference among the three scales before treatment(P > 0.05),two groups were comparable. After the first course of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 80.0%,and that of the control group was 66.7%,the effeective rate of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P< 0.005);after the second course of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 90%,and that of the control group was 86.7%,and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.Changes of scale scores:After the treatment, the total scores of PSQI,TCM diagnosis scale and HAMD in the two groups were significantly decreased(P <0.01).After the first course of treatment, the total scores of PSQI,TCM diagnosis scale and HAMD in the observation group were more significantly decreased than those in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).After the second course of treatment, the scores of these scales in the two groups continued to decline, however, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).4.Safety comparison: 2 cases of mild scald occurred in the test group, which was improved after active treatment, and no obvious adverse reactions or serious adverse events occurred in the control group. Conclusion:Both pressure moxibustion and mild moxibustion can effectively treat insomnia of heart gallbladder Qi deficiency type, the two therapies can achieve similar curative effects. However, pressure moxibustion on Sihua points has a faster effect on improving sleep quality, perfecting TCM syndromes(difficulty in falling asleep, dreaminess at night, fatigue, chest tightness, shortness of breath, self perspiration)and regulate the bad emotional state of patients, which is a specific advantages of pressure moxibustion.
