A Preliminary Study On Autotransplantation Of Teeth In Three Different Stages Of Alveolar Socket

Objective: To compare the clinical effectiveness of autologous tooth transplant ation in three different periods of the alveolar socket.Method: 64 patients with mi ssing posterior teeth who attended the maxillofacial surgery clinic of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from June to December 2019 were selected,and they were grouped according to the time of missing teeth,respectively: 22 cases in the fresh socket group which tooth loss time less than o r equal to 1 day,21 cases in the early socket group which 4-8 weeks after tooth extraction,and 21 cases in the artificial socket group for missing teeth for more t han 3 months.Autologous tooth transplantation was performed respectively.Extra ction time and fitting times of the donor teeth were recorded,and the efficacy of t he donor teeth was reviewed at 1,3,6,9 and 12 months after the operation,inclu ding clinical specialist examination and X-ray to evaluate the perioperative status,r oot healing and root resorption of the transplanted teeth.Results: There was no st atistically significant difference in the efficacy of the three groups 12 months after transplantation(P>0.05);Both fresh alveolar socket and early alveolar socket were superior to artificial alveolar socket in root healing(P<0.05);In this study,the ro ot resorption of transplanted teeth with artificial alveolar implants was nearly half,with no significant difference compared with the early alveolar implants(P>0.055),and the ratio of fresh alveolar alveolar was statistically significant(P<0.05);Other i ndicators,such as intraoperative indicators(extraction time 、fitting times of the do nor teeth),PD,AL,and patient satisfaction,showed no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Fresh alveolar,early alveolar and artificial alveolar socket can achie ve high success rate and close curative effect.In terms of PDL healing and root ab sorption,fresh and early alveolar socket are better than artificial socket.
