| Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of platelet-rich plasma combined with sodium hyaluronate(PRP+SH)in the treatment of temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis. Methods: Patients who met the inclusion criteria from September 2019 to July 2020 were collected and divided into two groups according to different injection drugs, namely platelet-rich plasma combined with sodium hyaluronate group(PRP+SH group)and sodium hyaluronate group(SH group). The degree of pain, maximum free opening, range of protrusive movement, range of lateral movement, joint noise and adverse reactions during treatment were recorded in both groups before and 1,3 and 6 months after treatment.SPSS21.0 software was used to analyze the data of each group. Results: A total of 33 patients were included in this study, including 15 in the PRP+SH group and 18 in the SH group.1.Time factor effect(time effect)test of pain P<0.05,interaction test results of time factor and grouping factor(time*group effect)P<0.05,and between-subjects effect test P<0.05.2.Time effect test of maximum free opening P<0.05,time*group effect test P<0.05,and between-subjects effect test P<0.05.3.Time effect test of the range of protrusive movement P<0.05,time*group effect test P<0.05,and between-subjects effect test P>0.05.There was significant difference between the two groups at 3 and 6 months(P<0.05).4.Time effect test of the range of lateral movement P<0.05,time*group effect test P<0.05,and between-subjects effect test P<0.05.5.Time effect test of joint noise P<0.05,time*group effect test P>0.05,and between-subjects effect test P>0.05.Conclusion: In alleviating pain and improving mandibular functional movement(maximum free opening, range of protrusive movement, range of lateral movement),the effect of PRP+SH is superior to SH.There is no significant difference in improvement of joint noise between the two groups. The incidence of related complications may be higher than that of SH after injection of PRP+SH into the TMJ. |
