Objective: To investigate the correlation between maxillary retrusion and lower lip rotation in patients with skeletal Class Ⅲ average angle unilateral cleft lip and palate after mixed dentition labial repair, and to compare the indexes of craniomaxillofacial hard tissue and soft tissue between cleft lip and palate group and non cleft lip and palate group. Methods:From January 2016 to December 2020,60 mixed dentition patients with average angle skeletal Class Ⅲ,the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were selected, including 30 patients with cleft lip and palate and 30 patients without cleft lip and palate; The lateral cephalograms of cleft lip and palate patients and non cleft lip and palate patients after mixed dentition repair were obtained. The cephalograms were traced and measured, and the measurement results were collected for data collection,SPSS17.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results: In cleft lip and palate group and non cleft lip and palate group,SNA value had no correlation with Rotation Vb value,ANB value had no correlation with Rotation Vb value; There were significant differences in 9 indexes between cleft lip and palate group and non cleft lip and palate group(P < 0.05),the SNA、SNB、Wits values of cleft lip and palate group were lower than those of non cleft lip and palate group, while the Li-bone,Ls-Li,lip degree difference, lower lip thickness,Rotation Vb and St B-Lipg values of cleft lip and palate group were higher than those of non cleft lip and palate group. Conclusion:There is no correlation between maxillary retrusion and lower lip rotation in patients with average angle cleft lip and palate in mixed dentition who after labial repair.
