Objective:To understand the incidence of retinopathy of prematurity with gestational age ≤34 weeks in our NICU,and to analyze the risk factors of retinopathy of prematurity. Methods:The data of preterm infants with gestational age ≤34 weeks hospitalized in our NICU in recent 5 years were retrospectively analyzed, and the incidence of ROP was statistically analyzed.Conform to the standard of 1738 cases of premature infants on the basis of whether ROP,divided into ROP group(n = 292)with the ROP group(n = 1446),collecting relevant data, the single factor analysis of related risk factors, and the single factor analysis of meaningful factors into the binary logistic regression analysis of many factors, from gestational age 34 weeks or less, the related risk factors for ROP in preterm neonates. Results: The data of preterm infants with gestational age ≤34 weeks hospitalized in our NICU in recent 5 years were retrospectively analyzed, and the incidence of ROP was statistically analyzed.Conform to the standard of 1738 cases of premature infants on the basis of whether ROP,divided into ROP group(n = 292)with the ROP group(n =1446),collecting relevant data, the single factor analysis of related risk factors, and will be meaningful in the single factor analysis of related factors into the multi-factor logistic regression analysis, analysis of our hospital gestational age 34 weeks premature babies or less of the related risk factors for ROP.Results: 292 cases(16.8%)of 1738 premature infants developed ROP,among which 103 cases(5.9%)needed treatment for severe ROP,and 0 cases of premature infants became blind after active treatment. In univariate analysis between the two groups, there were statistically significant differences in gestational age, birth weight, length of hospital stay, clinical complications with sepsis,BPD,anemia, receiving blood transfusion treatment, duration of oxygen consumption of > 7 days, and oxygen consumption >40% between the two groups(P < 0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that gestational age, birth weight, oxygen duration of > 7 days, oxygen concentration >40%,clinical combined with BPD,anemia and receiving blood transfusion were the independent risk factors for ROP in preterm infants with gestational age ≤34weeks.Conclusion:There are several factors for the occurrence of ROP.The younger the gestational age,the lower the birth weight, the longer the duration of oxygen intake, combined with BPD,anemia, and receiving blood transfusion treatment, the higher the risk of ROP in premature infants. For preterm infants with high risk factors, standard fundus screening and timely treatment measures can reduce the risk of visual impairment in preterm infants.
