Objective:To probe the connection between SNPs of TRPC3 and left ventri-cular hypertrophy among essential hypertensive patients, all the samles are Uygur and Han.Methods:There are 487 case samples of hypertension that we have col-lected data, including 180 Uygur and 307 Han.all the case samples were grouped into NLVH group and LVH group. We also uesd genetic testing technology to de tecting discriminate six different gene that we selected, and the t-test and?~2 test were used to determine the difference between the clinic data of those two grou-ps,Logistic was used to measure the risk of every factor we found before.Result-s:(1)There are significant differences in 24h SBP in Han nationality, while Uygh-urs have statistical differences in age,24h SBP,BUN,and SCR;(2)After Logistic regression analysis, the TT genotype at the Rs2292232 locus of TRPC3 made the adverse effects for hypertensives add the risk to get the left ventricular hypertrop-hy in Han.Conclusion:The TT genotype of Rs2292232 at TRPC3 locus was ass-ociated with left ventricular hypertrophy in Han nationality. The Rs953691,Rs10518289,Rs4995894,Rs951974,and Rs4292355 gene loci may not be related to the occurrence of left ventricular hypertrophy in the hypertensive population of Uygur and Han.
