Wheat Moxibustion Combined With Penetration Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis Clinical Study Of Cold Dampness Obstruction Type

Objective: To compare the difference of clinical efficacy between penetration acupuncture combined with wheat moxibustion and penetration acupuncture alone in the treatment of knee joint osteoarthritis(cold and dampness obstruction type),and to explore the superiority of wheat moxibustion combined with penetration acupuncture in the treatment of knee joint osteoarthritis.Methods:A total of 72 patients from the Department of Acupuncturism and Orthopedics,Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into treatment group(36 cases)and control group(36 cases)using random number table method.In the control group,penetration acupuncture Xuehai,Liangqiu,Inner Jieyan,Dubi,Yanglingquan and Yinling Quan were used.In the treatment group,the same acupoint penetration was selected as in the control group,and wheat moxibustion was applied at the same time.Both groups were treated once a day for 14 days.WOMAC score of Osteoarthritis Index Scale and pain scale(VAS)before and after treatment were observed to evaluate the efficacy of the two groups,and the clinical efficacy of the two groups after treatment was compared.Results: After the comparison of fourteen days of treatment and the analysis of the data results,the total effective rate of wheat moxibustion combined with puncture method group was 91.2%,and the total effective rate of the penetration needling group was75%.VAS score and WOMAC score in the treatment group before and after treatment,and VAS score and WOMAC score in the control group before and after treatment decreased between the two groups,with statistical significance(P <0.05);VAS score and WOMAC score were decreased in both groups before and after treatment,but the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group.After testing,it was found that there was a significant difference with statistical significance(P <0.05).Conclusion: 1.Wheat moxibustion combined with penetration acupuncture method and penetration needling method can relieve the symptoms of knee osteoarthritis,but wheat moxibustion combined with acupoint penetration needling method is more effective than penetration acupuncture method,and the effect is better in alleviating pain and mobility disorders of patients.2.Compared with penetration needling,wheatgrain moxibustion combined with penetration acupuncture method is more obvious in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis in WOMAC score and VAS score,and there is no adverse reaction in the treatment process,with good safety.3.Wheat moxibustion combined with penetration acupuncture method has a good effect,giving full play to the analgesic effect of wheat moxibustion and the adjustment of body balance of penetration acupuncture method,which should be further promoted in clinical application.
