Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of abdominal acupuncture and conventional body acupuncture in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea(qi stagnation and blood stasis type),and analyze statistical data to conclude whether abdominal acupuncture is more effective in treating this disease than conventional acupuncture.Advantages, and further explore the mechanism of action of abdominal acupuncture in the treatment of this disease. Methods:This subject included 72 patients with primary dysmenorrhea of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type as the research object, and were randomly divided into a treatment group(abdominal acupuncture group)and a control group(body acupuncture group). Each group had 36 patients.Certainly, there are 72 patients who have been dropped and eliminated. There are 31 patients in the treatment group and 29 patients in the control group. Both groups started treatment 7 days before the menstrual period until the menstrual cramps. One menstrual cycle is one course of treatment, with a total of 3 courses of treatment. The score scales before and after treatment were recorded, and the score changes of the two groups before and after treatment were analyzed. The main outcome indicator is the total effective rate(total effective rate =(cure + effective + markedly effective)/ total number of cases × 100%).Results:1.The general data(age, course of disease, menstrual cycle, menstrual period,VAS score, dysmenorrhea symptom score,TCM syndrome score)of the two groups of patients before treatment were compared and analyzed P>0.05,there was no significant difference, and they were comparable.2.The scores of the two groups before and after treatment were compared and analyzed P<0.05,which showed significant differences. Both groups had clinical effects on the disease, but the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.3.Abdominal acupuncture is different from other acupuncture. It takes acupuncture points on the abdomen and adopts thin-body acupuncture. The acupuncture does not pursue acupuncture sensation, thus avoiding the pain caused by soreness, numbness, pain, and patient compliance, and it is safe.It has no side effects and high curative effect. It provides a more effective plan for treating primary dysmenorrhea of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type.Conclusion:1.Both abdominal acupuncture and conventional body acupuncture can reduce the dysmenorrhea degree score and the dysmenorrhea symptom score of primary dysmenorrhea of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type. There is a significant difference between the two, which proves that abdominal acupuncture is more effective than the latter.2.Both abdominal acupuncture and conventional body acupuncture can improve the TCM syndromes of primary dysmenorrhea of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type. There is a significant difference between the two, which proves that abdominal acupuncture has a better effect than the latter.3.Abdominal acupuncture is different from other acupuncture. It takes acupuncture points on the abdomen and adopts thin-body acupuncture. The acupuncture does not pursue acupuncture sensation, thus avoiding the pain caused by soreness, numbness, pain, and patient compliance, and it is safe.It has no side effects and high curative effect. It provides a more effective plan for treating primary dysmenorrhea of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type.
