Objective:Through the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),the understanding of diabetic peripheral neuropathy in the field of traditional Chinese medicine was studied, and the effects of oral administration of Xiaoke Chubi Decoction on blood sugar, blood lipid, glycosylated hemoglobin,CPT and other related indexes of patients were observed through clinical trials. To explore the mechanism of Xiaoke Chubi Decoction in treating this disease and its effectiveness and safety in DPN.Methods:On the basis of literature review,72 patients with DPN(Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome)were collected from November 2019 to June 2020 in the outpatient and treatment area of endocrine and metabolic diseases in the affiliated hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The current sensing threshold is checked, and the results are statistically processed. After signing informed consent,72 inpatients and outpatients who met the standard were randomly divided into two groups(treatment group and control group, each with 36 cases)for comparison. The two groups were based on the basic hypoglycemic plan(diabetes education, diet, exercise, oral hypoglycemic drugs, insulin therapy,etc.).The control group was given mecobalamin tablets, while the treatment group was given Xiaoke Chubi Decoction and mecobalamin tablets. After 12 weeks of drug intervention,CPT and related physical and chemical indicators were reviewed. The clinical efficacy of oral Xiaoke Chubi Decoction was quantified by TCM symptom score and CPT detection data.Results:1.evaluation of TCM syndrome curative effect: after 12 weeks’ treatment, both groups have therapeutic effect, and the effect of the treatment group is more significant(P<0.05).2.TCM syndrome total score: after treatment, the total score of both groups decreased(P<0.05),especially in the treatment group.3.Current sensing threshold: After treatment,CPT values of patients in both groups were significantly improved(P<0.05),and CPT values of patients in treatment group were lower than those in control group.4.Blood sugar and glycosylated hemoglobin: After treatment, the indexes of the treatment group decreased significantly, and it was concluded that the treatment group had a better effect on it.Chinese medicine has the function of controlling sugar.5.Blood lipid metabolism: After treatment, the blood lipid level of patients in both groups decreased(P<0.05),especially in the treatment group. It shows that Chinese medicine has lipid-lowering effect. Conclusion:Xiaoke Chubi Decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms such as numbness, pain and cold limbs of DPN patients. After oral administration of Xiaoke Chubi Decoction, the threshold level of patients’ current perception is significantly improved, which indicates that this Chinese medicine has obvious therapeutic effect on CPT.Through clinical observation,Xiaoke Chubi Decoction can significantly reduce the total score of TCM syndromes of DPN patients.Xiaoke Chubi Decoction can reduce blood sugar, glycosylated hemoglobin and blood lipid of patients, and is helpful to treat DPN.It shows that Xiaoke Chubi Decoction has a significant therapeutic effect on DPN(Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),which proves the effectiveness and safety of this traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment process.
