Objective: In this study, patients with Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy(qi stagnation and blood stasis type)were treated with Taohong Siwu Decoction and neck pain Granules,by observe the clinical efficacy and analyze the safety of the two,a more effective and safe clinical treatment scheme was explored for the patients with this disease. Methods: According to the requirements of the subject research,84 patients with Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy(qi stagnation and blood stasis type)were selected from the orthopedic outpatients of Jilin Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2019 to November 2020,and the patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 42)and control group(n = 42).The treatment group was given Taohong Siwu decoction orally, and the control group was given Jingtong granule orally.Patients were strictly required to take it for 28 days. The TCM syndrome score, pain visual assessment scale(VAS)score and cervical vertebra dysfunction index(NDI)score were recorded before and after treatment, and the relevant data were analyzed and compared in order to explore the clinical effect of Taohong Siwu decoction. Results: A total of 84 patients were enrolled in the study, and 6 patients were shed, including 2 in the treatment group and 4 in the control group. There were 78 cases without shedding, including 40 cases in the treatment group and 38 cases in the control group. Before treatment, the two groups of patients were compared in terms of gender, age and course of disease, and the results showed no statistical difference.P were all greater than 0.05,which was comparable. Before treatment, the two groups of patients were ranked with the TCM syndrome scores,VAS scores and NDI scores. The test results showed no statistical difference.P were all greater than 0.05,which was comparable;the scores of TCM syndromes,VAS scores and NDI scores of the two groups before treatment and after treatment were compared within the group, and the results P were both 0.000 and less than0.05,Indicating that the treatment group and the control group have significant effects;after treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups of patients were compared between the groups,P was 0.006,which was less than 0.05.At the same time, the lower value of the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups was compared,P was 0.003,Less than 0.05,there was a statistical difference, indicating that the treatment group had a better curative effect and was better than the control group;after the treatment, the VAS score and NDI score of the two groups of patients were compared between the groups, and the results were 0.081 and 0.076,both greater than 0.05,Which showed that the two groups had the same curative effect. The total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.50%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 89.47%.After the rank sum test, the P was 0.579,and there was no significant difference.During the experiment, the two groups had no symptoms such as adverse reactions. Conclusion: The experiment showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.50%,and that of the control group was 89.47%.Both Taohong Siwu decoction and neck pain granule were effective in the treatment of cervical Spondylotic radiculopathy, but the decrease of TCM syndrome score of Taohong Siwu decoction group was more obvious than that of neck pain granule group after treatment, indicating that Taohong Siwu decoction group was better than neck pain granule group in improving TCM syndrome score. In this study, the safety of the two groups was higher, which was worthy of clinical use and promotion.
