Objective:To understand the current situation of health promoting behaviors,self-efficacy and eHealth literacy in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD);To analyze the influencing factors of health promoting behaviors,self-efficacy and eHealth literacy in patients with CHD;To explore the correlation between health promoting behaviors, selfefficacy and eHealth literacy in patients with CHD.A structural equation model was constructed to study the interaction pathways among eHealth literacy,self-efficacy and health promoting behaviors. Methods:A total of 298 patients with CHD treated in a hospital in Songyuan City,Jilin Province from December 2019 to September 2020 were selected by convenience sampling method. The questionnaire consisted of four parts: general information questionnaire,Electronic Health Literacy Scale,Chronic Disease Self-efficacy Scales,Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile II.Excel 2016 was used to establish a database, and SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 were used for statistical analysis of the data. The frequency and composition ratio were used to describe the general data of patients.Mean and standard deviation were used to describe the scores of health promoting behaviors, selfefficacy and eHealth literacy.t-test,analysis of variance and multiple linear regression were used to compare the differences of health promoting behaviors,self-efficacy and eHealth literacy among patients with CHD in terms of general data.Pearson correlation analysis method was used to explore the correlation between health promoting behaviors,self-efficacy and eHealth literacy.A structural equation model was established to further analyze the relationship among eHealth literacy,self-efficacy and health promoting behaviors.Results:1.The average score of health promoting behaviors in CHD patients was125.06±25.94.There were significant differences in the overall level of health promoting behaviors among patients with different genders, ages, nationalities, educational levels, occupations, residences and per capita monthly income of families.2.The average score of self-efficacy in CHD patients was 6.55±2.06.There were significant differences in the level of overall self-efficacy among patients with different genders, nationalities, educational levels, occupations and previous hospitalizations due to CHD.3.The average score of eHealth literacy in patients with CHD was 21.59±8.88.The overall eHealth literacy level of patients with different gender, age, ethnicity, education level, occupation, marital status, residence, per capita monthly income of the family, medical payment method and previous hospitalization times due to CHD were significantly different.4.The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that eHealth literacy of patients with CHD was positively correlated with self-efficacy(r=0.338),and all dimensions of eHealth literacy were positively correlated with all dimensions of selfefficacy(P<0.01).eHealth literacy of patients with CHD was positively correlated with health promoting behaviors(r=0.452),and all dimensions of eHealth literacy were positively correlated with all dimensions of health promoting behaviors(P<0.01).There was a positive correlation between self-efficacy and health promoting behaviors in patients with CHD(r=0.446),and all dimensions of self-efficacy were positively correlated with health promoting behaviors(P<0.01).5.The fitting index results of structural equation model show that the measurement index of model fitness is in the acceptable range, and the model fitting degree is good.eHealth literacy can indirectly influence health promoting behaviors through symptom management self-efficacy dimension of self-efficacy,the indirect effect size is 0.115,the direct effect size of eHealth literacy on health promoting behaviors is 0.353,the total effect size is 0.468.Conclusion:1.The health promoting behaviors of patients with CHD was at the general level.Gender, age, ethnicity, education level, occupation, residence and per capita monthly income of the family were the influencing factors of health promoting behaviors in patients with CHD.2.The self-efficacy of patients with CHD is at a low level.Gender, nationality, education, occupation and previous hospitalization for CHD are the influencing factors of self-efficacy in patients with CHD.3.The eHealth literacy of patients with CHD was at a low level.Gender, age, ethnicity, education level, occupation, marital status, residence, per capita monthly income of the family, medical payment method, previous times of hospitalization for CHD,and whether there is a family history are the influencing factors of eHealth literacy of patients with CHD.4.The health promoting behaviors of patients with CHD were positively correlated with self-efficacy and eHealth literacy.5.eHealth literacy and self-efficacy of patients with CHD have a direct positive effect on health promoting behaviors, and eHealth literacy can also have an indirect positive effect on health promoting behaviors through self-efficacy.Self-efficacy is the intermediary variable between patients’ eHealth literacy and health promoting behaviors.
