| Objective: To understand the status quo of health education ability of community nurses in Changchun City,deeply analyze the related factors influencing the health education ability of community nurses,and put forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures,so as to provide effective basis for nurses in grass-roots community hospitals to improve their health education ability and establish a theoretical basis for follow-up intervention measures.Methods: This study was designed as a cross-sectional study.From August to November in2020,five communities in each district of Changchun City were selected by random sampling method.The community nurses who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were investigated by cluster sampling method.The general information questionnaire and health education ability questionnaire were used to investigate the status quo of health education ability of community nurses in Changchun city.At the same time,Excel 2010 and SPSS22.0 were used for data entry and statistical analysis.Results: A total of 328 questionnaires were distributed in this study,319 of which were returned,and 5 invalid questionnaires were manually excluded(all items were the same).The final valid questionnaires were 314,and the effective questionnaire rate was 95.7%.1.The total score of health education ability of community nurses in Changchun was(112.11 ± 16.51),and the highest dimension of the scale was planning ability(31.24 ±4.92),The lowest score was implementation and evaluation ability(23.87 ± 3.65).2.Nonparametric test showed that age,initial education background,professional title,work unit,times of receiving health education training,teaching experience,continuing education,working experience in general hospital,and whether there was any content of health education while studying abroad had different scores in health education ability,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.The multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that the factors influencing the health education ability of community nurses in Changchun City ranked in order of importance as the number of health education(months)(β= 0.457),working experience in general hospital or not(β =0.183),whether have teaching experience(β =0.131),professional title(β=0.129),whether there is any learning experience about the content of health education(β= 0.102),initial education background(β= 0.094).Conclusion:1.The health education ability of community nurses in Changchun is in the middle level,which needs to be further improved.2.Initial education background,professional title,times of health education training,teaching experience,working experience in general hospital,continuing education and going out to study on health education were the influencing factors of community nurses’ health education ability.3.According to the theoretical basis of the influencing factors obtained from the statistical analysis of this study,the intervention measures to improve or promote the health education ability of community nurses should be formulated,and the important role of community nurses in the national health should be used to give full play to the bridge role of community nurses in the health of residents and promote the health of community residents. |
