Objective:In order to observe the clinical effects of traditional Chinese medicine colon dialysis on patients with chronic renal failure(CRF)decompensated Spleen and Kidney Qi deficiency and its effect on serum TGF-β1 and Col Ⅳ,and explore from the perspective of inhibiting renal interstitial fibrosis the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine colon dialysis in the treatment of CRF.Methods:1.The 80 patients, who meet the inclusion criteria, were randomly divided into two groups that namely the test group and the control group, with 40 cases in each groups. The test group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine enema on the basis of conventional Western medicine for colon dialysis, and the control group was treated with Niaoduqing Granules for colon dialysis on the basis of regular Western medical treatment. The course of treatment in both groups was 8 weeks. In terms of gender, age, and course of disease before treatment, there was no statistical difference between the two groups of patients.2.Observe and record the glomerular filtration rate(GFR),renal function(Scr,BUN,UA),,blood lipids(CHOL,TG),electrolytes(Ca,P,K,CO2),blood routine of the two groups of patients before and after treatment(WBC,RBC,HB),liver function(ALT,AST),serum TGF-β1,Col Ⅳ and other laboratory indicators, compare the alters in the indicators of the two groups of patients before and after treatment, and analyze the differences in the therapeutic effects of the two groups.3.Before and after treatment, observe and record the traditional Chinese medicine symptoms about the patients of the two groups, and analyze the treatment effect by quantifying the TCM syndrome integral.Results:1.Comparison of total clinical efficacy: The total clinical effective rates of the test group and the control group after treatment were 94.44% and 80.56% respectively.Compared with the control group, the test group has better treatment effect, and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).2.Comparison of various indicators in the laboratory:Compare the various indicators of the two groups after treatment, such as the renal function(Scr,UA),glomerular filtration rate(GFR),electrolytes(Ca,P),blood lipids(CHOL,TG),and blood routine(HB),it was found that the differences between the two groups were significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Comparing the changes in blood routine(WBC,RBC),liver function(ALT,AST),renal function(BUN)and other laboratory indicators of the two groups after treatment,it was found that the differences between the two groups were not significant(P>0.05).3.Comparison of serum TGF-β1 and Col Ⅳ: Comparing the serum TGF-β1 and Col Ⅳ levels of the two groups of patients after treatment, the levels of TGF-β1 and Col Ⅳ in the experimental group and the control group improved compared with the previous one,and the difference was significant(P <0.05),and the improvement of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group.4.Comparison of the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes:Compare the therapeutic effect of TCM syndromes between the two groups of patients after treatment, the test group has better treatment effect, and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01).5.Comparison of the curative effect of TCM symptoms: After treatment, the TCM symptoms of the two groups of patients were improved compared to before, the test group has better treatment effect, and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: Chinese medicine colon dialysis can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with spleen and kidney qi deficiency in the decompensated stage of chronic renal failure and reduce the concentration of TGF-β1 and Col Ⅳ in the serum. It is suggested that the traditional Chinese medicine colon dialysis can inhibit the progression of renal interstitial fibrosis by reducing the patient’s TGF-β1 and Col Ⅳ,so as to achieve the purpose of improving the patient’s condition and delaying the progression of CRF.
