ObjectiveIn this study, the efficacy, superiority and safety of acupuncture at jiaji point in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy under the guidance of the holistic view of the spine were analyzed and evaluated by observing the therapeutic effect of acupuncture at jiaji point in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy under the guidance of the holistic view of the spine.MethodsIn this study,it was randomly incorporated into a standard nerve root-type cervical spondylosis, and 36 cases were divided into 36 cases,a total of 72 cases.Thetest group and the control groupwere treated with "acupuncture at cervicothoracic-lumbar acupuncture points" and "conventional acupuncture" respectively, once every other day for one week, for a total of 4 courses of treatment.Clinical efficacy analysis and evaluation were performed before and after treatment follow-up by using "Yasu shi Tanaka Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale 20-point method" and "VAS score scale" respectively.ResultsOf the 72 patients with neurogenic cervical spondylosis included in this study,2 patients in each group were shed/rejected during treatment, for a total of 68 cases included in the statistical analysis at the end of the study,34 cases in each group.(1)Based on the analysis of the general data, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)Intra-group comparison:In terms of the "Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spondylos is Symptom Scale 20-point scale",the clinical symptoms and quality of life and hand function scores as well as the total scores of the two groups gradually increased after 4 courses and 1 month of follow-up,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of the "VAS scale",the scores of both groups gradually decreased after 4 courses,1 month of follow-up,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Comparison: Statistically significant differences in symptoms, signs, ability to work and live, and total score between the test and control groups after treatment and at 1 month follow-up(P < 0.05),and no statistically significant differences in hand function(P > 0.05).In terms of "VAS Scorenotes",after 4 courses and follow-up for 1 month test group and the control group differences were statistically Significance(P<0.05).(4)Comparison of the overall efficacy of the two groups: 6 cases were cured,16 cases showed efficacy,8 cases were effective, and 4 cases were invalid in the experimental group, with a total effective rate of 88.24% and a healing rate of 64.71%;3 cases were cured,10 cases showed efficacy,10 cases were effective, and 11 cases were invalid in the control group, with a total effective rate of 67.65%,a healing rate of 38.24%.After testing, the difference in incidence was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions(1)"Both the "cervicothoracic-lumbar acupuncture" test group and the "conventional acupuncture" control group had significant efficacy in the treatment of neurogenic cervical spondylosis. Both groups were able to improve the scores on the "Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale 20-point method",and both groups were able to improve the clinical symptoms, quality of life and hand function scores of patients with neurogenic cervical spondylosis.(2)After four courses of treatment and at one-month and three-month follow-ups,the "acupuncture at the cervicothoracolumbar point" test group had better efficacy than the "conventional acupuncture" control group in improving symptoms, signs, work and life skills and pain, while the two groups had comparable efficacy in improving hand function.(3)The clinical efficacy of acupuncture points under the guidance of the holistic view of the spine in the treatment of neurogenic cervical spondylosis is remarkable, which can effectively reduce clinical symptoms and improve patients’ ability to work and live.
