Objective:To assess the effect of serum Lp-PLA2 activity on the 10-year risk of ASCVD in a checkup population and its monitoring value. Methods:A total of 161 healthy subjects who were enrolled in the Second Department of the First Hospital of Jilin University from September 2018 to August 2020 were selected as the normal control group. The subjects’ basic information, including gender, age, height, weight, body mass index, history of hypertension, history of diabetes and smoking history, were collected by questionnaire.By obtaining a medical laboratory information systems of blood lipid and related indexes of laboratory test results, including TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C,fasting blood glucose,Lp-PLA2,and semi-quantitative assessment of ASCVD risk in healthy subjects for 10 years.According to the assessment results, the normal control group was divided into low risk group(75 cases),medium risk group(50 cases),and high risk group(36cases).A total of 113 clinically confirmed ASCVD patients in the same period were selected as the ASCVD group.According to whether they took lipid-regulating drugs, they were divided into two groups: the group without taking lipid-regulating drugs(46cases)and the group taking lipid-regulating drugs(67 cases). The laboratory test results of blood lipid-related indicators were collected.SPSS22.0 was used to analyze the correlation between Lp-PLA2 and conventional lipid-related indexes, and to compare the general data of each group,as well as the differences of lipid-related indexes and Lp-PLA2 activity levels.Results:1.The results of this study showed that Lp-PLA2 was correlated with LDL-C(r=0.6217,P<0.05),Lp-PLA2 was negatively correlated with HDL-C(r=-0.1666,P<0.05),positively correlated with TC(r=0.4688,P<0.05),and positively correlated with TG(r=0.2290,P<0.05).2.The activities of TC,TG,LDL-C and Lp-PLA2 in normal control group and ASCVD without lipid-regulating drugs were significantly higher than those in low-risk group(P < 0.05),and ASCVD without lipid-regulating drugs was significantly higher than that in ASCVD without lipid-regulating drugs(P<0.05),The HDL-C of middle and high risk groups and ASCVD group was significantly lower than that of low risk group(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference in Lp-PLA2 activity between the middle and high risk groups(P>0.050).Conclusion:1.Lp-PLA2 activity has an important effect on the 10-year risk of ASCVD,and the use of lipid-regulating drugs can significantly reduce the level of Lp-PLA2 activity.2.Regular monitoring of Lp-PLA2 activity in the middle and high risk groups in the physical examination population has guiding significance for ASCVD risk assessment and can provide a new idea for assessment model.
