| Objective:Chronic heart failure is a clinical syndrome in which various organic heart diseases develop to the end stage. The fatality rate is high, and it is the main cardiovascular disease leading to the death of patients;Salusin-β is a biologically active peptide that promotes atherosclerosis. It plays an important role in hardening, raising blood pressure, promoting cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, participating in vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation and anti-inflammatory response.Salusin-β has certain predictive value for the prognosis of cardiovascular diseases, and it is expected to provide new targets and directions for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The research direction of this experiment is to explore the changes of serum salusin-β levels in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF)and its relationship with cardiac function. Methods:A total of 72 patients with chronic heart failure admitted to Qingdao Municipal Hospital from June 2019 to December 2019 were selected. The patients were divided into 3groups according to the American Heart Association(NYHA)cardiac function classification:cardiac function grade Ⅱ(n = 15),cardiac function grade Ⅲ(n = 18),cardiac function grade Ⅳ(n = 39);At the same time,60 patients without chronic heart failure physical examination were randomly selected as the control group. The heart function of the observed subjects was measured by echocardiography, and the serum salusinβ level was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The serum salusinβ,N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)levels were compared and analyzed in each group. Results:The serum salusin-β level of the CHF group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P <0.05).The serum salusin-β level gradually increased with the aggravation of NYHA classification(NYHAⅣ>NYHAⅢ>NYHAⅡ).The serum salusin-β levels of the 3 groups were significantly different(P <0.05);the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)of the CHF group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P <0.05),and gradually decreased with the aggravation of NYHA grading. In the chronic heart failure patient group,salusin-β is positively correlated with NT-pro BNP(pg/ml)(r =0.569,P=0.000);serum salusin-β is negatively correlated with the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)level(r =-0.522,P =0.000).The predictive value of salusin-β in patients with chronic heart failure ROC curve analysis results show that the optimal relative expression concentration of salusin-β is 308.14pg/ml,the sensitivity is 88.9%,the specificity is 70%,and the AUC is 0.802.Conclusion:The serum salusin-β level of patients with chronic heart failure is significantly increased, and gradually increases with the increase of the NYHA grade of heart function.Salusin-β can be used as a potential serum marker for the diagnosis of chronic heart failure. |
