| Objective: The optimal blood pressure(BP)goal for patients after recanalization is still unclear,we explored the association between the BP after thrombectomy and functional outcomes in acute ischemic strokes with large vessel occlusions(LVO).Methods: Patients with anterior intracranial large-vessel occlusions who treated with thrombectomy successfully were identified.Hourly systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)values for the first 24 hours after thrombectomy were monitored and recorded, and the maximum, minimum and mean BP values were calculated. The functional outcome was defined as modified Rankin Scale scores at 90 days(m RS).Results: 121 acute ischemic stroke patients with successful recanalization after thrombectomy were included.55 patients(45%)had a good functional outcome, while the rest(55%)had a poor functional outcome,In the multivariable analyses, none of the BP parameters were associated with functional outcome. Conclusion: BP after successful MT for the first 24 hours was not significantly correlated with the functional outcome at 90 days.Future randomized controlled study is needed to better explain the influence of BP on functional outcome. |
