| Objective:To understand the current situation of maternal and infant health literacy,role adaptation and parenting effectiveness of primiparas and their differences in general information,to clarify the relationship between maternal and infant health literacy,role adaptation and parenting effectiveness,and to explore the influencing factors of parenting effectiveness,so as to provide more reference and help for good parenting management.Methods:This study is a non-experimental correlation study.Using convenience sampling method,346 primiparas in obstetrics department of a third-class A hospital in Weihai area were selected to investigate.The survey tools include: general data survey tools,maternal and infant health literacy assessment tools,maternal role adaptation assessment tools,and parenting effectiveness assessment tools.Statistical software SPSS26.0 was used for statistical analysis of the valid questionnaires.Statistical methods included: descriptive analysis,t-test,one-way analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis,and multiple linear regression analysis.Results:(1)In this study,a total of 346 primiparas participated in the survey,and the majority of them were aged 30-35 years;From the perspective of educational level,the number of junior college students is the largest;The highest proportion of respondents had children born in normal health;From the aspect of spouse support degree,the majority of the spouses fully support;A higher proportion of subjects attended prenatal training than those who did not.(2)The total score of maternal and infant health literacy was(177.99±28.97).There were differences in maternal and infant health literacy in age,education level,monthly family income,spouse support,relationship between husband and mother-in-law and daughter-in-law,and health status of children at birth(P < 0.05).(3)The total score of role adaptation of primiparas was 55.95±11.25,and there were differences in age,monthly family income,education level,health status of children at birth,relationship between husband and mother-in-law and daughter-in-law,and spouse support(P < 0.05).(4)The total score of parenting efficacy of primiparas was(29.06±8.71),and there were differences in parenting efficacy in age,education level,whether or not to participate in prenatal training,spouse support degree,and the health status of the children at birth(P < 0.05).(5)There was a correlation between maternal and infant health literacy,role adaptation and parenting efficacy: maternal and infant health literacy was positively correlated with role adaptation(r=0.760,P < 0.01),and was positively correlated with parenting efficacy(r=0.645,P < 0.01);There was a positive correlation between role adaptation and parenting efficacy(r=0.613,P < 0.01).(6)The linear regression of the childcare efficacy of the study subjects: the total score of maternal and infant health literacy and the total score of role adaptation can jointly explain the variation of 44.8% in the scores of dependent variable childcare efficacy.Conclusion:(1)The overall maternal and infant health literacy of primiparas is at a medium level,the role adaptation is basically at a medium level,and the overall situation of parenting effectiveness is not ideal.(2)There is a positive correlation between maternal and infant health literacy,role adaptation and parenting effectiveness of primiparas,that is,the higher maternal and infant health literacy,the better role adaptation and the higher parenting effectiveness.(3)Maternal and infant health literacy and role adaptation are the influencing factors of parenting effectiveness.Therefore,improving maternal and infant health literacy level and role adaptation level of primiparas is helpful to enhance parenting effectiveness and improve parenting behavior. |
