Objective: To understand the current effect of exercise rehabilitation on some aspects like exercise ability,self-efficacy and quality of life(QOL)of patients with chronic respiratory diseases(CRD),and to clarify the application effect of exercise rehabilitation in the pulmonary rehabilitation(PR)of CRD patients,to provide references for hospitals and medical institutions to establish the CRD patient exercise rehabilitation system. Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study.Using table of random number,60 CRD patients who were discharged at Grade AAA hospital in Jilin Province from December 2019 to September 2020 selected for exercise rehabilitation intervention. The data were collected by the questionnaire survey around before and 8 weeks after exercise rehabilitation intervention.Frequency, mean and standard deviation were used to describe the general demographic data. The chronic disease self-efficacy,QOL,6-minute walk test(6MWT)and m MRC indexes were inferred by independent sample, paired t-test and variance statistics.Result:(1)Demographic characteristics of CRD patients: a total of 60 patients were included in this study, and 65% of the subjects were male;40 % were between 60 and 70 years old;Marital status:86.7% were married;Health insurance accounts for 90% of medical expenses. Before intervention, there were no significant differences in general demographic data, chronic self-efficacy,QOL and monitoring indexes of 6MWT between exercise group and control group(P>0.05),which showed comparability.(2)In exercise groups, there was statistically significant between pre(34.63±18.90)and post(49.33 ±14.74)intervention(P <0.05).In control group, there was also statistically significant between pre(34.73±22.10)and post(39.77±19.79)intervention(P<0.05).The difference score between exercise group and control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)QOL: In exercise group, between pre(37.93±21.87)and post(14.57±19.17)intervention,there was statistical significance(P<0.05).In control group,pre(35.33±29.26)and post(29.63±26.88)intervention,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Exercise group compared with control group, the difference score was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)Indicators of 6MWT: The 6-minute walking distance in pre and post intervention exercise groups were(310.44±144.37)m and(399.67±98.41)m,between two groups there was statistical significance(P<0.05).The pre and post control group were(317.17±99.82)m and(344.19±110.63)m,there was no statistical significance(P > 0.05)between two groups.Exercise group compared with control group, index difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Dyspnea index(mMRC): the comparison between pre(3.37±1.00)and post(1.60±0.89)in exercise groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the control group, the results were(3.33±1.32)and(2.67±1.49)in each pre and post intervention group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Between control and exercise groups, the difference of m MRC was statistically significant(P<0.05).Exercise group compared with control group, index difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Exercise rehabilitation intervention could effectively improve the self-efficacy of CRD patients.(2)Exercise rehabilitation intervention could promote the QOL of CRD patients.(3)Exercise rehabilitation intervention could alleviate dyspnea of patients with CRD and improves their exercise ability.
