| From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine,brown sugar is warm,sweet and enters the spleen.It has the functions of strengthening the spleen and warming the stomach,relieving pain,replenishing qi and blood,promoting blood circulation and removing silt.Nowadays,brown sugar is in the form of pharmaceutical expipients in the prescription of Chinese patent medicine,widely used in granules,wine,pills,ointment and oral solution and more than 30 kinds of Chinese medicine preparations,such as Xinhua Granules,Shujing Huoluo Wine,Shanhaohuazhi Pillar,Shandong gelatin paste and puerperan oral solution.It is not only an adjuvant,but also plays a role as a traditional Chinese medicine.Although there is a wide range of brown sugar-related products in China,the material basic research on brown sugar is particularly insufficient,and the research on pharmacological activity is also relatively scarce,which limits the further production and development of brown sugar-related products in the future.In this paper,the high quality brown sugar(Guangxi Mashan)screened in the laboratory was used as the experimental material to separate phenolic substances,explore its hypoglycemic activity,and develop related drinks,which laid a foundation for the subsequent development and industrial production of enterprises.The details are as follows:1.Phenolic components in brown sugar were isolated and identified.The brown sugar aqueous solution was extracted with ethyl acetate to obtain crude fractions.Then,the ODS column was prepared under medium pressure for further separation,and the components with high content were prepared separately in the semi-preparation liquid phase,and then lyophilized to obtain monomer compounds.Four phenolic compounds,including protocatechuic acid,p-hydroxybenzoic acid,syruvic acid and vanillic acid,were identified from the brown sugar of Mashan,Guangxi for the first time by means of high resolution mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic analysis.2.The hypoglycemic activity of phenolic extracts from brown sugar was studied.Macroporous resin was used to enrich phenolic compounds in brown sugar,and Q-TOF high resolution mass spectrometry was used to identify 24 compounds in brown sugar extract,which were mainly flavonoids and phenolic acids.The model mice were KKAy transgenic diabetic mice,and the four indexes of blood lipid,insulin level,and glycosylated hemoglobin were evaluated.It was found that after 8 weeks of administration of brown sugar extract,blood glucose,total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein could be decreased,and there were significant differences compared with model group(P<0.05).Insulin level decreased to 5.524 mIUĀ·L-1;It also alleviates diabetes related lesions in the glomerulus,pancreas and CA1 region of the brain.3.Using the high quality hypoglycemic activity of brown sugar extract and combining with signature prescription of Chinese medicine master Zhongying Zhou,we developed solid and liquid drinks.Most of the prescriptions are traditional Chinese medicine with the same origin as medicine and food,and the content of total phenolic acid and gingerol in the prepared drinks are stipulated,and the relevant national beverage standards are tested,and all of them meet the requirements.In this paper,the phenolic components in brown sugar were identified,the hypoglycemic activity of the extract was evaluated,and the development and performance of the beverage were evaluated,which provided a reference for the future research,development and utilization of brown sugar. |
