Retrospective Analysis Of The Characteristics Of Heart Failure In Different Seasons

ObjectiveOut of hospital treatment of heart failure is a very important part in the treatment of heart failure.Understanding the regularity and characteristics of heart failure can effectively respond to specific population in chronic disease management.Therefore,the research on the characteristics of heart failure at different time points and environmental factors has been carried out at home and abroad.However,due to the geographical characteristics of environmental factors,this study aims to explore the influence of different seasons on the incidence characteristics of heart failure through retrospective analysis of the incidence characteristics of heart failure patients in Guangdong Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine from 2016 to 2018,and provide reference for the management of chronic heart failure in Lingnan area through this study.MethodsThrough the electronic medical record management system of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine,we screened out the heart failure cases that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria from 2016 to 2018.Through the system,six kinds of clinical data were extracted,including season information,diagnosis information of Western medicine,diagnosis information of traditional Chinese medicine,characteristics of heart failure and physical and chemical examination results.According to the season of onset,the patients were divided into "spring winter" group and "autumn summer" group.The clinical data of the two groups were compared.Through statistical analysis of the clinical data of the two groups,the characteristics of heart failure in different seasons in Lingnan area were summarized.ResultsIn terms of the etiology of heart failure,the proportion of patients with ischemic heart disease(P<0.05)and diabetes mellitus(P<0.05)in the spring winter group was higher than that in the autumn summer group.In TCM syndrome types,the proportion of qi deficiency syndrome in autumn summer group(P<0.051)was higher than that in spring winter group,and the proportion of Yang deficiency syndrome(P<0.05)was lower.In terms of disease characteristics,the tendency of NYHA Ⅲ and NYHA Ⅳ in spring winter group was higher than that in autumn summer group(P<0.05).The proportion of heart failure patients with edema symptoms in spring and winter group was higher than that in autumn and summer group(P<0.05).WBC(8.27±3.96 VS 7.64±3.37 P<0.05)and NEUT(69.96±11.99 VS 67.57±11.64 P<0.05)in spring and winter group were higher than those in autumn and summer group.Compared with autumn and summer group,spring and winter group had higher cTnT(0.10 0±0.26 VS 0.06±0.19 P<0.05).ConclusionHeart failure has different characteristics in different seasons.Patients with onset in spring and winter have more severe symptoms,which may be associated with higher levels of inflammation in patients with onset in spring and winter.The incidence of ischemic heart disease and diabetes in patients with heart failure in spring and winter is higher than that in autumn and summer.Among the patients with heart failure in spring and winter,the proportion of TCM syndrome type combined with Yang deficiency syndrome is higher than that in autumn and summer.Among the patients with heart failure in autumn and summer,the proportion of TCM syndrome type combined with Qi deficiency syndrome is higher than that in spring and winter.
