Objective:To observe the antihypertensive effect of buccal acupuncture in the treatment of primary hypertension, explore the clinical application value of buccal acupuncture, and initially form the intervention scheme of buccal acupuncture in the treatment of hypertension,so as to provide new ideas and new methods for the treatment of hypertension by traditional Chinese medicine, and better improve the social service ability of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of hypertension. Methods:From December 2019 to January 2021,60 patients with "primary hypertension" as the first diagnosis were collected from the outpatient department of Cardiology,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese medicine. They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.Control group was given western medicine amlodipine benzenesulfonate tablet(Norvasc 5mg)once a day,one tablet each time. The treatment group was combined with buccal needle on the basis of the treatment plan of the control group. Two groups of patients were treated for 4 weeks, and the blood pressure and clinical manifestations before and after treatment were observed.Results:1 In the treatment group, the blood pressure immediately after the first acupuncture,30 min and 60 min after acupuncture was compared with that before acupuncture, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The systolic and diastolic blood pressure showed a downward trend as a whole, with antihypertensive effect.2 The systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the two groups at 1week,2 weeks,3 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment were compared between groups and within groups. It was found that the blood pressure of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).3 Comparing the results of dynamic blood pressure 24 hours before and after treatment between the two groups of patients showed that the treatment group reduced the average systolic blood pressure(24h SBP),24 h average diastolic pressure(24h DBP),and the average daytime contraction Pressure(DSBP),average day diastolic pressure(DDBP),and night average diastolic pressure(NDBP)blood pressure were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The differences were found to be statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that both treatment regimens had antihypertensive effects.4 After treatment, the two groups of TCM certificate points decreased significantly(P<0.05),and the treatment group points were lower than the control group(P<0.05)and the treatment group’s TCM certificate efficacy improved better than the control group(P<0.05),the treatment group was better than the control group in the improvement of dizziness, headache, palpitations, shortness of breath symptoms(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups on frequent symptoms of night urine(P>0.05).Conclusions:In this study, buccal acupuncture therapy was used to treat primary hypertension. The results showed that it had a unique curative effect on reducing blood pressure, improving clinical symptoms such as vertigo, headache, palpitation and shortness of breath.
