| Research Objective:This study was mainly to explore the effect of eye exercises to prevent and controlon children myopia and maintain the helth of visual function.It alsodiscovered the related factors that affect myopia and visual function,and provi dedthe reference to obj ectively evaluat and apply eye exercises.Research Method:In Huantai County(Zibo City,Shandong Province),we selected totally 982 students from the second to fourth grade in two primary schools as the sample.There were 30 classes randomly divided into two groups,one is the high-quality eye exercises group,and the other is the low-quality group.In order to record and analyze thedifferent experimental date of visual acuity,diopter,eye axis and visual function between the two groups,within three months,the high-quality group was given standardized guidance by professional physician,but no measures were applied to the low-quality groupResearch Results:By studying the relationship between the age and the observed indexesof pupils in grade 2-4,we found that the age has a significant effect on diopter,axial length and monocular accommodation sensitivity(P<0.05).That is to say,with the grouth of the students,the diopter and monocular adjustment sensitivity will decrease,and the axial length of eyes will increase.However,age has nothing to do with monocular accommodation and stereopsis(P>0.05).The older a person is,the greater the negative values of axial length and diopter are,the higher the prevalence of myopia is,and the visual function will declineGender could affect the axial length(P<0.05).The axial length of male students was 0.51mm longer than that of female students.However,it did not affect diopter,monocular accommodation sensitivity,binocular accommodation sensitivity,monocular accommodation amplitude and stereopsis(P>0.05),nor did it affect diopter and visual functionThe reason why students have different refractive states is that they are affected by the length of ocular axis,the sensitivity of monocular adjustment and the amplitude of monocular adj ustment(P<0.05,Pearson correlation coefficient).That is to say,the greater the negative value of diopter,the longer the length of ocular axis,and the higher the amplitude of monocular adj ustment and the sensitivity of monocular adjustment.But,there was no correlation between refractive status and stereop si s(P>0.05,Pearson correlation coefficient)Comparison of baseline data between the two groups before intervention and the data 3 months after intervention showed no statistical difference in baseline data between the experimental group and the control group.After 3 months of intervention in the experimental group,a comparative study between the experimental group and the control group found that the average single-eye regulation sensitivity of the experimental group was 0.75cpm higher than the control group,the average binocular regulation sensitivity of the experimental group was 0.5 8cpm higher than the control group,and the average range of single-eye regulation of the experimental group was 0.36d higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in visual acuity,refraction and axial length between the two groups(P>0.05)Conclusion:By studying the relationship between myopia and visual function and related factors of grade 2-4 pupils,we can conclude that the older pupils with poor visual function and long axial length are more likely to get myopia,and the older pupils with longer axial length and higher degree of myopia have worse visual function.In addition,gender is not able to effect on diopter and visual function,but on axial length.In general,the average axial length of male students is 0.51mm longer than that of female students.It shows that high-quality eye exercises can improve the visual function,but not in the prevention and control of myopia Standardized eye exercises can significantly improve the visual function of primary school students.Therefore,we should standardize the teaching of primary school students’ eye exercises and strengthen the management.However,after three months of observation,there was no effect of eye health exercises on Pupils vision,diopter and axial changes.In order to know exactly the effect of eye exercises,long-term observation is needed for further discussion. |
