Effect Of Cordyceps Sinensis Preparation On Immune Function And Pulmonary Function In Elderly Patients With Stable Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Objective: In this paper,Cordyceps sinensis preparation was applied to the elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).The effects of Cordyceps preparation on the laboratory test indexes were observed in the clinical treatment of patients,and the effect of Cordyceps sinensis preparation in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was clarified,and its possible mechanism was discussed.Methods: Patients who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were selected from the Department of geriatrics and Department of pulmonary disease of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese medicine from January 2019 to December 2020.The patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.The control group was treated with western medicine basic treatment and acetylcysteine tablets to relieve symptoms,and the treatment group was treated with Cordyceps sinensis preparation(bailing capsule)on this basis.Before the experiment,the two groups were given TCM syndrome quantitative score,the quality of life of patients was evaluated by questionnaire,the lung function and immune indexes of patients were detected,and the safety indexes such as blood routine,urine routine,liver and kidney function,stool routine and ECG were detected.The above indexes were retested after 24 weeks of medication,and the score was scored again.The changes of indexes before and after the experiment were compared and analyzed.Results: After treatment,the TCM syndrome quantitative score,COPD patient self-assessment test questionnaire(CAT)and modified British Medical Research Council Respiratory Questionnaire(MRC)were compared between the two groups The scores of MRC,SF-12 and SGRQ were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the6-minute walking distance(6 MWD)of the two groups was significantly increased(P<0.01);the CD8 + lymphocytes of the two groups were decreased,and the immunoglobulin(Ig G)was increased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)+Lymphocyte,CD4 + / CD8 +,Ig A,Ig M,FEV1 / FVC were increased,hs CRP was decreased,with statistical significance(P<0.05);CD4 + / CD8 +,FEV1 / FVC were increased,hs CRP was decreased in the control group,but without statistical significance(P>0.05).After treatment,the total TCM syndrome score,hs CRP,SGRQ score and SF-12 quantitative score of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group,while the CD4 + / CD8 +,Ig A,Ig M,FEV1 / FVC and 6 MWD of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05)MRC score change was better than the control group,but the difference was small,not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of conventional treatment,the addition of Cordyceps preparation(bailing capsule)can significantly relieve the clinical symptoms of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;reduce the body inflammatory reaction,improve the lung ventilation function of patients;improve the immune function,enhance immunity;improve the exercise endurance of patients,improve the quality of life.
