| ObjectiveThis subject is to observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy of Yinhuo Decoction in the treatment of Recurrent Aphthous Ulcer with deficiency of kidney yang,observe its recurrence rate,and explore effective Chinese medicine treatments for recurrent aphthous ulcers with low recurrence rate,and provide reference for clinical treatment.MethodsThis study selected 108 patients who confirmed the diagnosis and inclusion criteria of recurrent aphthous ulcers of kidney-yang deficiency.They were treated at all community health service centers under the Baoan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2019 to December 2020.A random number table was generated by Microsoft Excel 2016,and random numbers were assigned according to the order of entry into the group.According to the odd number method,they were divided into experimental group and control group,with 54 cases in each group.The experimental group was given Yinhuo Decoction,one dose a day,twice in the morning and evening,and the course of treatment lasted 5 days.The control group took vitamin C tablets combined with vitamin B2 tablets orally for 5 days.Two groups of patients were asked to return visit to the clinic after the treatment as soon as possible.To observe and compare the changes in clinical symptoms and physical signs scores of patients,record the changes in the average ulcer period and pain index before and after treatment,and track whether the subjects have adverse reactions during the period of drug administration.A 3-month follow-up was conducted for cured and markedly effective patients to understand the recurrence of the disease and compare the recurrence rates between the two groups.Use SPSS 26.0 and SPSSAU official website(https://spssau.com/)for statistical analysis.Results1.In terms of the scores of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes,there was no significant difference in the scores of TCM syndromes between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were lower than before,there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01),and there was a significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).In the single TCM symptom score,there was no significant difference between the two groups before the treatment of burning sensation(P>0.05),and the two groups after treatment were lower than before,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),There were significant differences before and after treatment in the group(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the scores of other single TCM syndromes between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the two groups were lower than before after treatment.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).Comparison before and after treatment within the group There is a significant difference(P<0.01).In general,the experimental group is better than the control group in improving the signs and symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine.2.In terms of average ulcer period,there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the average ulcer period of the two groups was shorter than before.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).There is a significant difference between before and after(P<0.01).In terms of pain index,there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the pain index of the two groups was lower than before.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).There is a significant difference(P<0.01).3.In terms of clinical efficacy of western medicine,94.2%of the experimental group and 70.0%of the control group,there is a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).In the evaluation of the efficacy of TCM syndromes,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 92.3%,and that of the control group was 70.0%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).4.The cured and markedly effective patients were followed up for 3 months,and the number of recurrences was recorded.The total recurrence rate of the experimental group was 22.2%,and the total recurrence rate of the control group was 52.9%.There was a significant statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).5.There were no adverse reactions and adverse events in the two groups of patients during the treatment period.ConclusionThe combined treatment of Yinhuo Decoction in the experimental group and vitamin C and vitamin B2 tablets in the control group can effectively treat recurrent aphthous ulcers.Comparing the two,Yinhuo Decoction has advantages in alleviating the suffering of patients,shortening the average ulcer period,and improving the overall symptoms.It can effectively improve the quality of life of patients and reduce the recurrence rate. |
