Clinical Observation Of Jiangzhuojianzhong Granules On The Treatment Of Metabolic Syndrome With Phlegm-Dampness Constitution

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Jiangzhuojianzhong granules on the symptoms,blood glucose,blood lipids,homocysteine,cystatin C and other indicators of metabolic syndrome patients with phlegm-dampness constitution and analyze its effectiveness and safety in order to provide new ideas on treatment of metabolic syndrome with phlegm-dampness constitution.Methods: 60 metabolic syndrome patients with phlegm-dampness constitution were enrolled and randomly divided into control group and trial group with 30 cases each.The control group was treated with metformin tablets,and the trial group was given metformin tablets and Jiangzhuojianzhong granules.4 weeks was a course of treatment and a total of 3 courses of treatment were observed.Results: 1.In terms of improving blood glucose and BMI,the trial group and control group had significant differences compared with those before treatment(P<0.01);after treatment,the FPG and Hb A1 c were different between two groups(P<0.05),and the 2h PG and BMI were significantly different between two groups(P<0.01);2.In terms of blood lipids,the trial group and control group had significant differences compared with those before treatment(P<0.01);after treatment,TC,TG,LDL-C had a difference between two groups(P<0.05)and HDL-C had no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05);3.In terms of blood pressure,Cys-C and Hcy,the trial group and control group had significant differences compared with those before treatment(P<0.01);after treatment,there were differences in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure(P < 0.05),and there were significant differences in Hcy(P< 0.01),and Cys-C had no significant difference(P>0.05);4.In terms of phlegm-dampness constitution conversion scores,the trial group and control group had significant differences compared with those before treatment(P < 0.01);after treatment,the phlegm-dampness constitution conversion scores were significantly different between two groups(P<0.01).The effective rates of the trail group and the control group were 93.10% and 76.67% respectively.In addition,the therapeutic effect of phlegm-dampness constitution in the trail group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.01);5.During the observation period,the two groups showed no abnormalities in routine blood tests,and the clinical medication was relatively safe.Conclusion:Jiangzhuojianzhong granules can significantly improve the physique of metabolic syndrome patients with phlegm-dampness constitution,and have obvious effects in improving body weight,blood glucose,blood lipids and blood pressure.In addition,Jiangzhuojianzhong granules can significantly reduce Hcy levels,but the specific mechanism of Jiangzhuojianzhong granules needs further investigation.
