Clinical Observation Of Zeqi Decoction In Treating Malignant Pleural Effusion Of Lung Cancer And Its Effect On T Lymphocyte Subsets

Objective:To explore the potential value of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of malignant pleural effusion by comparing the clinical efficacy and changes in the level of T lymphocyte subsets of single intracavitary chemotherapy and the combined treatment of Zeqi decoction on malignant pleural effusion of lung cancer.Methods:60 patients meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,with 30 patients in each group.Before treatment,patients with moderate and large effusion in the two groups received pleural puncture and drainage until the pleural effusion was basically drained(meeting the minor criteria),and T lymphocyte subsets and NK cells were detected by flow cytometry though peripheral blood.The control group was regularly treated with cisplatin pleural perfusion therapy,and the treatment group was additively treated with Zeqi decoction until the end of the experiment 1 cycle later.After treatment,objective remission rate and disease control rate,TCM syndromes efficacy,quality of life(KPS)score,lymphocyte subsets,toxic and side effects were evaluated.Results:There was no statistical significance in gender,age,pathological classification,effusion location and efficacy evaluation indexes before treatment,and a randomized controlled trial could be conducted.The disease control rate,TCM syndrome efficacy score,KPS score and lymphocyte subgroup proportion in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group,with statistical significance.After the comparison of the incidence of toxic reactions between the two groups after treatment,the control group was slightly higher than the treatment group,but there was no statistical difference.Conclusion:Zeqi decoction can effectively control the progression of malignant pleural effusion and realize immune regulation by increasing CD3+,CD4+and NK cells and decreasing CD8+levels.It can significantly improve the TCM clinical syndrome of patients,effectively improve the quality of life of patients,and has good drug safety.
