results are as follows:1.The average total score of psychiatric nurses’ competency characteristics is 273.32±28.54,and the item average is 3.22±0.34.The scores of each dimension are ranked from high 86.78±13.30,and the average value of items is 4.32±0.77.The order of the scores of each dimension from high to low is self-efficacy(4.40±0.78),optimism(4.32±1.10),resilience(4.30±0.87),and hope(4.25±0.84).There are differences in the nature of the ward, age, length of service, marital status, initial education, and professional title, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The average total score of psychiatric nurses’ work engagement is 31.13±8.94,and the average score of each item is 3.46±1.00.The scores of each dimension item from high to low the mediation effect of psychological capital correspond to the upper and lower bounds of the 95%confidence interval of bootstrap that do not contain 0,indicating that job competence can not only directly predict work input, but also Predict work input through the intermediary effect of psychological capital. Its direct effect(1.43)and mediation effect(0.53)accounted for 73.06%and 29.94%of the
