Objective:To study the application value of MEWS and ERTS in the evaluation of patients’ condition and prognosis in the emergency room of our hospital.Methods:500patients were randomly selected from the emergency room of our hospital. On the basis of mew score,ERTS was used to re score.Pearson correlation test was performed on the above two scores, and their value in disease classification was predicted. The prediction results of the two scoring systems were compared by ROC curve. Results:There was a positive correlation between the two scores of 500 emergency patients(r = 0.738,P <0.001).The area under the curve of ERTS and mews score for admission to general ward, severe disease and prognosis were 0.922,0.757,0.732,0.624,0.592,0.581,respectively.The above two scores were significant for the disease stratification of emergency patients. Conclusion: MEWS and ERTS score have guiding significance for the grading of emergency patients’ condition, and have important value for judging the outcome of emergency patients. The specificity and sensitivity of erts score are higher than mews score.
