This thesis consists of three parts:Chapter 1:Sythesis of diterpenes derivatives and Structure identification.We selected labdane diterpenes from H.forrestii,such as:coronarin E,coronarin A and diterpenoid compound from Hedychium as the substrates,such as:hedychiumyunanense A.The reaction methods involves Selenium Dioxide oxidation,Acylation Reation and Photosentitive oxidation.We obtained 49 diterpene derivatives.Their structures were unambiguously established by means of spectroscopic data,which are all new compounds.Chapter 2:Biological activity determination of diterpenes derivatives.The cytotoxic activities of some diterpene derivatives were tested in vitro against three human tumor cell lines(K-562,SMMC-7721,A-549),the structure-ativity relationships studies of these compounds showed most of the orientation of 15-carbonyl-16-hydroxy unsaturated lactone showed significant cytotoxicity activity.All of the derivatives were measured of its in vitro antibacterial activities,the size of the bacterial inhibition zone and MIC were also studied in this research,and its combined actions with bacteria also were determined.15-hydroxy-16-carbonyl unsaturated lactone ring is essential for the antimicrobial activity.Chapter 3:Progress on biological activity determination of diterpenes derivatives.Recent progress on chemical and pharmacological aspects of diterpenes was reviewed.Hedychiumyunanense A,coronarin E,coronarin A and their analogues showed significant biological activities and remarkable pharmacological effects,which were worthy of further study for the sake of developing better preparations for clinical diseases.
