ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to build clinical undergraduate nursing trainee teacher teaching self-efficacy scale,it can be used as a tool for clinical undergraduate nursing trainee teachers to assess self-efficacy in Chinese mainland.This scale was used as a self-efficacy assessment tool for the undergraduate nursing trainee clinical teaching teachers in my country’s hospitals.Effectiveness provides a reference basis.Methods1.The formation of the initial scale:Through the literature search,open questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview,Finally,the dimensions and items included in the initial"Clinical Undergraduate Nursing Trainee Teaching Teacher Self-efficacy"were constructed.2.The formation of the test scale:The Delphi method was used to conduct two rounds of consultation on the self-efficacy scale of clinical undergraduate nursing trainee and teacher.The items were filtered,modified or added according to the feedback of the experts.After two rounds of modification,a scale with high content consistency was formed.The test scale of"Clinical Undergraduate Nursing Trainee Teachers’Self-efficacy"was formed by calculating the positive coefficient,authority coefficient,coordination coefficient and index weight of the experts.3.The formation of the formal scale:Use the test scale of the"clinical undergraduate nursing trainee teacher self-efficacy"as a survey tool,and the convenience sampling method was adopted.Firstly,30 clinical nursing trainee teachers from a Grade A hospital in Hengyang City were selected for a predictive test,and the items with ambiguities and respondents’reluctance to answer were modified.Then,make a survey of 500 clinical teaching undergraduate nursing trainee teachers from 6 hospitals in Hengyang,Chenzhou and Changsha using the cross-sectional questionnaire.Apply SPSS25.0 and Amos24.0 to analyzing final data.analysis of discrimination index through project analysis method,cronbach’sαcoefficient,retest reliability,1/2 reliability measurement scale reliability,content validity index(CVI)test scale content validity.Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to evaluate the structural validity of the scale.The correlation coefficient between the self-efficacy scale and the calibration criteria was calculated to evaluate the validity of the calibration criteria.Results1.After two rounds of Delphi expert consultation method,the clinical undergraduate nursing trainee teacher self-efficacy scale of 5 dimensions,14second-level items and 67 items finally formed,which Included Teaching Strategy(3 level-2 items),Classroom Management(4 level-2 items),Student Participation(3 level-2 items),Emotional Support(2 level-2 items),Patient Cooperation(2 level-2 items).2.The validity and coefficient of the final scale:(1)Reliability:The cronbach’sαcoefficient of the scale was 0.898 to 0.982.;The split coefficient of the scale was 0.822 to 0.947.(2)Validity:The content validity index(s-cvi)of the scale was 0.970.the content validity index(i-cvi)of the item was 0.90to 1.00.The cumulative contribution rate of 5 male factors extracted by exploratory factor analysis was 64.039%.Results of confirmatory factor analysis:X~2/df=2.177,RMSEA=0.075,RFI=0.909,NFI=0.924,IFI=0.958,TLI=0.943and CFI=0.957.The results show that the scale fit well.Using the TSES(simplified version)which compiled by Tschannen-Moran and Woolfolk Hoy as the validity criterion,the result showed that the pearson correlation coefficient between the TSES and the final scale was 0.695(P<0.01)and the scores of different dimensions was 0.320 to 0.561(P<0.01).ConclusionsThe self-efficacy scale of clinical undergraduate nursing trainee teachers constructed by Delphi method in this study.It has good item discrimination,reliability,validity and feasibility.It was suitable for the study on the self-efficacy of clinical undergraduate nursing trainee teachers.
