| Objective:To study the risk factors of Acute Ischemic Stroke(AIS)patients with Cerebral Microbleeds(CMBs)and their influence on prognosis.Method:We enrolled a total of 363 AIS patients who were hospitalized in the Department of Neurology of Deyang People’s Hospital from April 2014 to January 2017.All enrolled patients met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and completed a one-year follow-up.According to the results of susceptibility weighted imaging(SWI),the patients were divided into CMBs group and without CMBs group, and the location and number of CMBs were recorded.Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of CMBs.According to the modified Ranking Scale(mRS)score at one-year after AIS,the patients were divided into a good functional prognosis group(mRS 0-2 points)and a poor functional prognosis group(mRS 3-6 points).Logistic regression was used to analyze the influence of CMBs on functional prognosis of AIS patients.Result:Among the 363 patients,254(70.0%)were male, with a median age of 68 years,145(39.9%)had CMBs,and 140(38.6%)had poor functional prognosis.Multivariate analysis showed that age(OR=1.03,95%CI:1.01-1.05;P=0.012),hypertension(OR=1.77,95%CI:1.03-3.04;P=0.038)were independently associated with AIS patients with CMBs.Forthermore, the existence of CMBs is independently associated with poor functional prognosis of AIS patients(OR:3.62;95%CI:2.19-5.97;P<0.001).Conclusion:The prevalence of CMBs in AIS patients is as high as 39.9%;age and hypertension are independent risk factors for CMBs in AIS patients;CMBs are independent risk factors for poor functional prognosis in AIS patients. |
