Objective: To investigate the effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell on myocardial infarction in mice. Methods: 30 healthy C57BL/6 mice(male,8 weeks old, about 25g)were randomly divided into normal control group, treatment group and medium control group.Mice in the treatment group and control group were injected with human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell subpopulation(h MSCs)and serum-free DMEM medium after 2 weeks of myocardial infarction treatment. Two weeks after stem cell transplantation, mice in each group were examined by echocardiography, and cardiac specimens were collected for HE staining. Results: 2 weeks after transplantation,LVIDd and LVIDs in the treatment group and the control group increased significantly compared with the normal group(P < 0.05).LVIDd and LVIDs were significantly smaller in the treatment group than in the medium control group(P < 0.05),indicating that the left ventricle of the myocardial infarction mice increased significantly after cell transplantation. The short axis shortening rate(FS)and ejection fraction(EF)of cardiac function indexes were significantly improved in the treatment group compared with the medium(P < 0.05).Myocardial infarction in mice heart pathological HE staining showed medium area of myocardial infarction(mi)in the control group was significantly higher(49.2 + 2.5)% h MSCs treatment group(38.4 + 2.2)%(P < 0.05),dyeing images show the control group and severe myocardial infarction area in vacuoles, obvious fibrosis through wall necrosis, fibrosis can alleviate and h MSCs treatment group infarction area, infarction, only in the inner layer, infarction area obviously improved. Conclusion: mesenchymal stem cell transplantation can reduce the fibrosis caused by myocardial infarction, prevent myocardial remodeling and maintain cardiac function.
