Clinical Study Of Huatan Huoxue Recipe In Treating Phlegm-stagnation Hypertension With Left Ventricular Hypertrophy Summary

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Huatan Huoxue Recipe in the treatment of patients with phlegm-stasis-associated hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy,and to provide evidence for the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine to treat patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy.Methods: Seventy patients with phlegm and blood stasis type hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy that met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and a test group according to the random number table method.example.The control group was treated with irbesartan tablets;the experimental group added Huatan Huoxue Recipe on the basis of the control group.This study lasted a total of 12 weeks.Before and after the experiment,the blood pressure,blood pressure and blood pressure variability(BPV),TCM syndrome score and syndrome efficacy of the two groups were observed.Thickness(interventricular septum thickness,IVST),left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT),left ventricular mass index(LVMI),and changes in blood lipids,liver function,and kidney function.Result:1.There was no statistically significant difference in gender,age and course of disease between the two groups(P> 0.05).2.Seated blood pressure,mean daily blood pressure,and BPV: After treatment,the systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)of the two groups were lower than before treatment(P <0.05).The degree of reduction with DBP was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The two groups of patients were treated with mean systolic blood pressure(24h SBP),mean global diastolic blood pressure(24h DBP),standard systolic blood pressure standard deviation(24h SBP-SD),and standard diurnal blood pressure standard deviation(24h DBP-SD).After the treatment,there was a very significant decrease(P <0.05),and the effect of the treatment group using the combined treatment was more significant(P <0.05),and the patients in the two groups did not report discomfort.3.TCM syndrome scores and curative effects: The syndrome scores were calculated before treatment in the two groups of patients,and they were comparable after comparison(P>0.05).After treatment,the total effective rate of TCM syndromes in the experimental group was 91.17%,compared with The total effective rate after treatment in the group was62.86%,and the curative effect of the test group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.Related indicators of left ventricular hypertrophy: IVST,LVMI,and LVPWT after treatment were lower in both groups than before treatment in this group(P <0.05);and IVST,LVMI,and LVPWT in treatment group were lower than those in control group after treatment(P<0.05).5.Effects on blood lipids,liver function,and renal function:Compared with before treatment,the blood lipid of the control group did not decrease significantly(P> 0.05),and the test group had a significant decrease(P <0.05);compared with the control group,the blood lipid of the test group decreased More significant(P <0.05).There were no significant changes in liver function and renal function before and after treatment in the two groups(P <0.05).Conclusion: Huatan Huoxue Fang combined with irbesartan tablet can not only effectively improve the blood pressure of patients with hypertension left ventricular hypertrophy,reduce blood pressure fluctuations,reverse the left ventricular hypertrophy,but also significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the group patients without significant discomfort.It deserves extensive use in the clinic.
