| ObjectiveHo LEP has gradually occupied an important position in the surgical treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. With the continuous development of laser technology, the Moses Holmium laser platform has appeared in the field of vision of urologists. This laser can simultaneously meet the needs of urologists.Urinary stones and benign prostatic hyperplasia are needed for treatment. In this study,we compared the efficacy and safety of treatment by comparing transurethral laser enucleation of the prostate with different powers of Moses holmium laser.MethodsA retrospective study of clinical data of 100 patients diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and undergoing Ho LEP surgery from the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University from June 2018 to May 2019 was divided into LP-Ho LEP group(2.0J 35 HZ 70W)(n = 50)and HP-Ho LEP group(2.5J 40 HZ 100W)(n = 50).The enucleation time, the quality of resected specimens, the changes of hemoglobin before and after surgery, the bladder irrigation time, and the catheter indwelling time were calculated.Postoperative complications and related data such as maximum urine flow rate(Qmax),residual urine volume(PVR),IPSS,and Qo L at 3 months after operation.Analyze and compare the clinical efficacy and safety between the two groups.ResultBoth the LP-Ho LEP group and the HP-Ho LEP group successfully completed the operation without serious surgical complications. The eradication time of the two groups was(33.74 ± 11.97)min and(22.10 ± 4.41)min,the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05);the postoperative hemoglobin reduction was(11.30± 12.06)g / L and(7.76 ± 7.56)g / L,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05);bladder irrigation time was(1.82 ± 0.69)d and(1.90 ± 0.76)d,the difference was not statistically significant(p> 0.05);indwelling guide Urinary tube time was(2.58 ± 1.03)d and(2.66 ± 0.85)d,the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05);there was no significant difference in the quality of prostate resection andpostoperative complications during operation(p> 0.05);The differences in IPSS,Qo L,PVR,and Qmax in the group before and after 3 months were statistically significant(p <0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups.ConclusionTransurethral laser enucleation of the prostate using the Moses laser platform is safe and feasible. There was no significant difference between the LP-Ho LEP group and the HP-Ho LEP group before and after surgery in terms of improvement in the IPSS score,Qo L score,Qmax, and PVR.Compared with the LP-Ho LEP group, the postoperative hemoglobin decrease in the HP-Ho LEP group was smaller,The removal time is shorter and the removal efficiency is higher. Therefore, when using the Moses laser to perform HP-Ho LEP,it is possible to achieve a faster and smaller enucleation operation under the premise of ensuring the efficacy. |
