Objective:This study observes the clinical efficacy of modified decoction of Huozhi combined with entecavir on patients with chronic hepatitis B liver fibrosis to verify the effect of modified decoction of Huozhi on anti-hepatic fibrosis. Methods:Patients with chronic hepatitis B fibrosis diagnosed as S2-S3 by liver biopsy at the Liver Disease Center of Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, from February 2019 to June 2020,were selected.A total of 110 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group(55 cases)and the control group(55 cases). The observation group was treated with the modified decoction of Huozhi combined with entecavir, and the control group was treated with entecavir alone for more than or equal to 6 months. The changes in liver function, liver stiffness measurement, liver biopsy histology results, virological response, and TCM symptom scores were compared and analyzed between the two groups to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups against liver fibrosis.Results:(1)In this study, the number of drop-out patients was 4 in total, including 3 patients in the observation group and 1 patient in the control group. There were 52 patients in the observation group, all with a treatment course for more than 6 months, while 27 were for up to 12 months of treatment.54 patients in the control group had a treatment course of 12 months.(2)After 3 months of treatment:(1)The ALT and AST of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.001),compared with the control group, the observation group was more significant in reducing ALT and AST levels(P<0.05).(2)In terms of HBV-DNA negative conversion rate, the observation group was higher than that of the control group and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(3)The TCM symptom scores in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.001),The TCM symptom scores in the observation group decreased more than those in the control group(P<0.001).(4)In terms of the efficacy of TCM symptoms,34 patients in the observation group achieved effectiveness, with an efficiency of 65.4%,Although the TCM symptom scores in the control group decreased,no one in the control group achieved effectiveness. The efficacy of the two groups was statistically different(P<0.001).(3)After 6 months of treatment:(1)The ALT,AST and HBV-DNA negative conversion rates of the two groups were significantly improved compared with the 3 months of treatment(P<0.001),but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)In terms of liver stiffness, both the two groups of patients improved significantly after treatment than before treatment(P<0.001).While the observation group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).(3)The TCM symptom scores in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.001),while the observation group dropped more significantly than the control group(P<0.001);(4)In terms of the efficacy of TCM symptoms,49 patients in the observation group achieved effectiveness, with an efficiency of 94.2%,while 41 patients in the control group achieved effectiveness, with an efficiency of 75.9%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.001),while the observation group was superior to the control group.(4)After 12 months of treatment:(1)In terms of liver stiffness and TCM symptom scores,27 patients in the observation group treated for 12 months compared with 54 patients in the control group treated for 12 months, the liver stiffness and TCM symptom scores of two groups were significantly improved compared with the 6 months of treatment(P<0.001),while the observation group was superior to the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)In terms of the efficacy of TCM symptoms, all patients in the observation group achieved marked effects and cured, with an efficiency of 100%,which was significantly higher than the 51.9% in the control group. The efficacy of the two groups was statistically different(P<0.001).Conclusion:1.The modified decoction of Huozhi combined with entecavir can improve liver function, virological level, liver stiffness, and the efficacy of TCM symptoms in treating chronic hepatitis b fibrosis of the liver depressed and spleen weakness type, and the combined effect is better than entecavir alone, and duration of treatment, the effect is more pronounced than before.2.After 6 months of treatment, the modified decoction of Huozhi combined with entecavir has a better anti-fibrosis effect than entecavir alone, and the effect will be more significant if the treatment is extended to 12 months.
