Analysis Of Individual Expenses Based On Inpatient Medical Data

As an important part of medical care expenditure,hospitalization medical expenditure accounts for the largest proportion of medical institutions.The state has made a breakthrough in solving the problem of difficult and expensive medical treatment by introducing a series of measures,including coverage of the medical security system,increasing the proportion of hospital expenses reimbursement and reducing the line of hospital payment for inpatient care.However,because the base of hospitalization expenses is relatively large,the expenses that need to be paid by patients may still become the burden of medical treatment.At the same time,with the increase of hospital medical expenses and the continuous improvement of corresponding policies,the share of medical care borne by the state has increased significantly.Therefore,analyzing the main factors affecting hospitalization expenses and finding the relationship between each factor and hospitalization expenses has some enlightenment for people to improve their lifestyle and health level.Also,it is of certain significance to optimize the allocation of national medical resources and the adjustment of related medical system.This paper uses the inpatient medical data provided by Jilin Medical Insurance Bureau to take the total medical expenses incurred by a single individual hospitalization as the research entity of hospitalization expenses.Through the descriptive statistical analysis of the data,we can preliminarily understand the hospitalization expenses,the influencing factors and the relationship between the hospitalization expenses and the single influencing factors.On this basis,the appropriate models for further analysis are selected.Taking into account the hierarchy of the research method and the comprehensiveness of the analysis,combined with the characteristics of the data,the multivariate linear regression model and the additive model,the quantile regression model and the tree-based method are selected to analyze the effect of age,sex,personnel category,special markers,hospital level,operation time,hospitalization days and disease type on hospital expenses.In addition to the overall impact of various factors on hospital expenses,it also presents the characteristics of low,medium and high levels of hospital expenses and the complex interaction of various factors on hospital expenses.The fitting results of the comprehensive model show that the above factors have a significant effect on the cost of hospitalization.According to the influence on the inpatient medical expenditure and the relative action of each factor,the reasonable suggestions are given in combination with the actual and related medical policies.
