ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation of mitochondrial fusion protein-2(Mfn2)and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase 2(ALDH2)with chronic heart failure(CHF)and prognosis of CHF.Methods1.Choose between October 2018 and October 2019 in our hospital cardiovascular internal medicine of 180 cases of CHF patients hospitalized for experimental group,will collect the CHF patients grouped according to the NYHA classification standards,including Ⅱ 46 cases,Ⅲ grade 63 cases,Ⅳ level 71.In addition,40 healthy subjects who underwent physical examination in outpatient department of our hospital during the same period were selected as control group.2.Collect the experimental group and control group in the N end of b-type natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP),white blood cells,alanine aminotransferase,aspartate transaminase enzyme,serum creatinine,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),and other test results,at the same time to collect all the research object of general information,including gender,age and other basic situation;Patients in the experimental group were followed up regularly,and the incidence of primary endpoint events within 1 year after discharge was recorded.Mfn2,ALDH2 levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),ELISA Kit(Shanghai Yu Duo).3.Using SPSS 25.0 to analyze data,and the measurement using t(or t)test,counting data by chi-square test,multiple sets of measurement data line between ANOVA analysis of variance,continuous variable correlation using Pearson correlation analysis,Mfn2 and ALDH2 with cardiovascular endpoint events using binary Logistic regression analysis,in addition the receiver-operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis is adopted to improve the diagnosis of experimental evaluation.Results1.Compared with the control group,Mfn2 and ALDH2 were decreased in CHF experimental group,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.01).The levels of Mfn2 and ALDH2 were between grade II and grade III and IV(6.47±0.16ng/m LVS5.91±0.15ng/m L VS 5.46±0.14 ng/m L).95.26±2.50U/L VS 78.58±2.45U/L VS75.52±1.96U/L),the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.01).2.According to the classification of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),Mfn2 and ALDH2 in LVEF≤40% patients were lower than those in LVEF>40% patients(Mfn2:5.450±1.23ng/m L VS 6.16±1.18ng/m L;ALDH2:76.54±17.70U/L VS85.03±19.85 U/L),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05 ~P<0.01).Pearson correlation analysis showed that in CHF group,Mfn2 was negatively correlated with LVEDD(P < 0.01)and positively correlated with LVEF(P< 0.01),while ALDH2 was positively correlated with LVEF(P < 0.01).3.Further analysis showed that the area under the ROC curve of Mfn2 was 0.803,with a 95%CI of 0.719-0.887.The area under the ROC curve of ALDH2 was 0.831,and the95% confidence interval(CI)was 0.762 to 0.900.When Mfn2 and ALDH2 were combined to diagnose the prediction probability,the area under the ROC curve was0.891,95%CI was 0.823-0.958,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The endpoint events of CHF patients within 1 year were analyzed,14 patients in the group with endpoint events and 166 patients in the group without endpoint events.Binary Logistic analysis showed that Mfn2 and ALDH2 were independent risk factors for the endpoint events of CHF patients(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Serum levels of Mfn2 and ALDH2 decrease with cardiac function decline.Serum levels of Mfn2 and ALDH2 may have certain protective significance in the occurrence and development of CHF;2.Serum Mfn2 and ALDH2 were positively correlated with LVEF in CHF patients.When LVEF decreased,serum Mfn2 and ALDH2 also decreased;3.Decrease of serum Mfn2 and ALDH2 levels were independent risk factors for the end point events in CHF patients,and both of them had certain predictive value for the diagnosis of CHF patients.
